Contemplating

Contemplating

A Poem by Alex Fegley (Extro Zifer)
"

Written in the last half an hour of my college English course.

"
Tell me that I am stupid.
Tell me that I am wrong.
I want your reasoning.
I want your anger in throng.

Stop beating around the bush.
Release and let it spew.
Don't bullshit me any longer.
Just do what you need to do.

Pacifism can only last so long.
Raise your hand against me.
Leave me beaten and bruised.
Then we can both be free.

I just want to see you happy.
I just want to forget.
Your smile bring me joy.
But memories of a Misfit.

Why don't I say what you want to.
I am an arrogant prick without heart.
I am useless and unreliable in love.
I am only worthy of a poison dart.

Yet here I sit, waiting.
Watching you each day,
Contemplating.
