They

This was the first poem I ever wrote. I finally found it.

They control

what you say,

what you hear,

what you see.

They control what

you believe in,

and what is Fantasy.

They love you and

They crush you.

They heal you and

They hurt you.

They build you and

They destroy you.

They pull you close,

protect, and stay near you.

They push you away,

defeat, and desert you.

When all is done They are lost to you,

then you realize what They meant to you.
