Faithful Life

A Christian poem about faith

All I have left is the Spirit

and creative visions as my merit

For in the Creator I have faith

To dream is never too late

and that's the way I've grown

Deep inside I've always known

that my destiny is bigger and better

Rainbows after stormy weather

The gut is telling me I'm here on purpose

to live the kind of life that I chose

with some kids and a spouse

but also something higher

The fruit of my goal is to inspire

and achieve big career goals

with little money tied in my soles

Love is filling my heart's holes

That's the way I've always been

believing in the unseen

trying to know what the signs mean

Keeping my mind enlightened and body so lean
