SoulA Poem by Anne KorhonenA poem about depressionInside your head Inside four walls it's painful to be Your head full of nothing Can't live with pleasure any more The mercy of your heart is zero Like you didn't have soul any more Food doesn't tempt the belly, mouth, throat You aren't dancing any more when playing music Fashion doesn't bring you joy The Bible and those books or pen and paper don't tempt you to contemplate The synonym of love might be family now it feels like a mistake worth regret Soul is screaming for space The cage is ruining faith life Sudden judgement is based on the surface without knowing the person, watching underneath the skin I would like to hug the man of God so that the Holy Ghost could return to my soul I would like to dedicate my time for prayer because it beautifies the soul I would like to dedicate myself to charity and get better as a philanthropist, mother and wife Soul is demanding new experience so that life wouldn't turn into dull and black The intellect is missing some teaching and the artist is missing inspiration The chef is missing new mix of spices The model is missing a better wardrobe The solution is found in passion or lack of it neither in antidepressants nor beer for which you might need rehab to maintain the basis of mental health so I'm choosing to swallow the negativity Copyright 2017.
