farewell

farewell

A Poem by EylonBear
"

I wrote this for someone that I thought I loved. He turned out to be a jerk but at least I got a poem out of it.

"

I loved you

you said you loved me too

you asked me a question

I wasn't ready for that inquisition

I overreacted majorly

I'll admit wholeheartedly

It was a mistake I made

one I hope to have paid

You said these things I know aren't true

Then you said "I didn't even like you"

Confusion hit and I'm sore

but I guess this doesn't matter...anymore

What I've come to say, and taken so long to do

is I hope you find someone worth you

Some one who will understand you

who will always remain loyal and true

farewell and adieu.

Gotta love the rhymes! Sorry, I just love rhyming poems. Haha. This one's really sad, but I liked it! This poem shows the complication of love and man. Keep on writing! ;)
