The Mask

A Poem by Ezel_Amaru

A portion of abigger piece I'm working on called the the Masquerade

Jealousy is a mask that eats away at ur face Yet wen rendered under the moonlight I relinquish my own fate I transform into beast driven by anger and hate Jealous why would I ,a man of many hats ,with morals and values Solim is my journey my history perceives me ,kare to smoke a cigeritte with my pain its laced Beauty I know not of it for this mask has eatin away at my face

Many faces have many masks and one of yours is that of a talented man....

This started out as though 'The Mask' was referring to the female form as the word Jealousy is more often linked to the female variety. Then your last line was literally like a slap in the face...... a good slap if you can ever call a slap good :o)

I like the flow of this intriguing piece of prose.
