Adela Montaigne. I grew up rich. With cliched rich problems. Dad was too busy. Mom was a b***h.

Sure I was lonely. Sure it hurt.

But I was alright.

I had Grandma.

I had her soft, sweet lullabies, her warm hugs, her encouraging words.

I grew up well and loved with her gentle eyes watching over me.

So I suppose her death caused it all.

Well caused it all I for me. I’m not so arrogant as to believe that I was that important to the events that transpired. All of would’ve happened with or without my presence.

So perhaps it was a mistake of fate that Grandma died. That I found the Portal. That I met Keiran. That I ran away. That I enrolled in W.E.I.R.D. That i fought for the future of a world I wasn’t born in.
