Tracks of time

The roads we travel leave a trail yet to be unravelled.

The Tracks of Time:

The tracks of time
Run through my mind-
Up and down
And intertwined-
Around and around
The mind -
In time,

And what is found
Along those tracks,
Those tracks of time
Inside my mind-

The path so smooth
For us to choose-
Within those choices
Echo distant voices-
It's ours to make
The decision or fate-

But still within this
Mime of time-
The journey
Full of learning-
Answering the hearts
Yearning-

Along those tracks
In time we travel-
Only for the truth
To unravel-
Choices we make
That determines
Our fate-

Mistakes-
The lessons
Along the way -
Ensuring tomorrow
Will be a better day-
We live and learn
Along the tracks -
And it's best that
We don't look back-
The tracks we've left
Have been worked out-
And in our hearts
Without a doubt-
We know that it's
The past that strengthens
Our hearts-
Tomorrow is a brand new day-
To celebrate that life
Is a journey-
A mysterious
Illusion-
Full of much confusion
But when we look
Inside our hearts-
Those tracks of time
Are intertwined -
With love and care
We need to share-
There's someone needing it out there-

So along those tracks of time-
Let love and caring
Pass the time-
For tomorrow
We just do not know -
What life will bring
Along our tracks -
But time-
We can control
It's all a fragment -
Of the mind.

Thoughts in Time,
How intriguing that each human being's life if processed and lived from the inside out. Thougts, emotion, reasoning and different types of coping mechanisms...you name it. We are complex and we all are simply living and learning. Your poem is a lovely theme pointing to this thing called life. Very nice.

it seems that the mind ponders on any thing that is not settled,memories are just that,good,bad or in different they are settled,we spend a lot of time on the things that are not settled in our minds,but we do reminess on those fond memories from time to time
