‘ Life’s small delights’🌹

‘Give Me’

Give me the colours
Of the rainbow
Each one bare
And beautiful-
With a touch of
Gold and silver
And stardust
Sprinkles
Everywhere-

Give me flowers
In full bloom
Dancing to
The tune of
Sun rays sparkling
Upon the lawn
At
The coming
Of
New dawn

Give me raindrops
Soft and tender
Dripping from the leaves
That are blowing
On the trees

Give me songbirds
Singing melodies
Echoing across the
Open plaines of
Freedom-
A true ‘Dreamdom’

Give me love
Soft and gentle
Bouncing on clouds
Of white-
Enticing the hearts
Delight-
Where wishes flow
And lovers grow
Closer
By dusk each night

Sunsets and streams
And lovers dreams
Of lost hope and hurt
Gone by

Give me one more
Wish
And another time
To try find the
Place and space
Of grace

Where lovers
Words are the
Only sound
To be heard
In the silence
Of the
By and by.

It is so delicate and innocent. Gives 'lovers' a whole new meaning, rather than the passion that so many seem to seek it has a much truer delight. Being together puts a filter on the world so all you see is it's beauty.

Many thanks for your kind words- yes I believe in only one true pure love shared by two and that brings all mystical adventures and wonders about, sometimes my heart aches within these words as each and every one come from a very deep place of pure longing love which I believe we all can have one day🌹
