‘So’

‘So’

A Poem by ‘Thoughts In Time’🌹
"

Lies within🌹

"
'So'

When I look
Back in time
I don't wonder
What could
Have been mine?

I see the change
Of space that
Came with grace-

I became wise
And won the
Biggest
Prize-

The inner peace
That creeps up
Slowly
And
Fills all the
Chambers of my
Mind-

But it took
Time to
Find-
Like a mountain
Turning
Into a fountain-
Energies
Released,
Followed by
A peace that
Is not lonely
But
Its only the
Self
That can
Experience
This wealth
Of our
Sanity-
That passes all
Fleshly
Vanity-

Time turns around
And the
Beginning
Becomes the
End-
And there's no need
To set a trend-

What I learnt is
The biggest friend
Lies within,
Away from
All that
Gliitters and
Glam-
Then I
Realised exactly
Who
I am..

Kelly - So true and so beautifully stated. We often spend so much time
looking, searching for that which we already have. If only we had sense
enough to recognize and appreciate it.

Take care - Dave

Life teaches us. We have enough. I liked your words and deep thoughts. I believe. Make the good days last longing and try to forget the bad days. Thank you dear Kelly for sharing the excellent poetry.

You are right dear Kelly.
A welcome realization. It is the "biggest prize" life offers. Thanks for the reminder and the journey shared.

And I have no words for your wonderful words and insight🌹
That is the most sacred pathway, finding the doorways that lead into the depths of you. All else is the shallows, the superfluous plastic life. This is so encouraging, finding peace, finding life, finding hope. May others read your words and know they can find these too. :)

I really liked the line about mountains becoming fountains. You just keep bringing great work, and it becomes more and more of a pleasure to read your work. Great job, yet again.
