I make a wish
Into the
Well
Where
All my thoughts
And emotions
Do dwell-

It knows me
Well
I come and
Tell secrets deep
Only
For the well
To keep-

Oh wishing well
Can you tell
What the future
Does hold

Oh wishing well
Do tell-

Stories of glory
And gloom

Reflecting moonbeams
Upon your waters
Deep within

Sheltered
Secrets
And sin-

Where do you
Begin

Wishes and kisses
Of passers by
Lost upon loves
Emotions
Do fly-

The where’s and
Why’s
Shed tears have
Been cried-
Into the well
Where wishes
They come and
Tell-

Heartache dropped
At dawn

Coppers and pennies
Lying forlorn

Whereabout were
Wishes born

Hearts lying
Tattered and torn-

A new wish
Needs
To be reborn-

Oh wishing well
Return the wishes
Upon
Fair kisses

Waters stirred
Hearts pleas heard-

Embrace your dreams
And desires
Igniting
Your souls
Fire-

Reflections of self
Upon the Wishing wells
Water-
Mirrors all you have
Brought to her-

The thoughts trapped
Transcending
Sparkling pennies
Depend
On them-

Pennies for
Wishes
Awaiting
Those kisses-

Who steals
All your wishes-

None

But self..

Your first verse to me was magnificent, then again Your ending lines were absolutely perfect, reconnecting with Your opening verse, in both You are sending the message... this message that says that it's all with our hands, and it's all our choices, our belief, our faith, and that it's all inside us, that we can do it, everything, every dream and wish we can make them real, another brilliant piece that been written emotionally and effectively.

There is something magical about wishing wells that transcends age, with young and old alike tempted by the hope, the wish it could come true.
your words here are reminiscent of how I felt as a child, willingly throwing money away for a hope.
Your ending really adds oomph and leaves me seeing each coin as someones dreams.
