Oh my heart sits
So deep
In the depths
Of my soul

My stomach

My tangled
Emotions

Weep

Oh Heart
You found
The one that
You so want

To keep

Oh I should
Hush
Not these words

Utter or speak

The ache it burns
It yearns
So deep

Oh life
What ever
Did I do

To have stumbled
Upon
A Old precious
Special soul
Like you-

Before we knew
Eachother true
Now you’ve
Returned
To me and you

I waited
Wishing
Many rivers
Fishing

I lost myself in time
Just hoping
Believing
You would
Somehow
Someday
Be mine

I wished upon
Each starry sky
Never told the slightest
Lie
Promised to live
And die for you
Set fire out hearts
A heart of two

I knew you knew

Through distant valleys
Rocky Mountains
Deepest streams
Our love flew
Searching the world
For what it knew

That in a certain place
And time
It would haveto
Climb off that
Merry go round
And be true
To the separate parts
The parts
Of me and you

It tried to beat
The hands of time
But the heart
Could not depart

So few that share
One heart between
Two
The love so deep
It’s me and you

My soul it ached
It stood
In lue-
Waited patiently
On promises sent
From you -

Was blue
But true
Waiting until the time
It knew
That would bring you
Home
From where you flew

Oh spirit set us free to be
The love we do desire

I beg of you

Hear my cry

I’d rather die

Than live without
You
My hearts desire
It’s you I require

Love, the deepest, truest love, oh how it grips us, guides us, and carries our souls over time and space to be united in that world of pure bliss. This love awakens us to the depths of our being, and there in that place of revelation we are made whole, we are made fully alive. So few ever find such a place, but it is worth the painful search... it is worth it. Beautifully voiced.
