‘Love Letter’

I wrote a
Letter

To my
Love

Sent it on
The wings of
A pure white
Dove

Trusting in
Blessings sent
From above

The love would
Find in place
In time

The end of
The nursery
Rhyme

Where you
Would be mine
Like the sweetness
Of old red
Wine

In that certain
Place and time -

I am yours and
You are mine

Where lovers
Mingle and
Minds entwine

Delicious
And smooth
With nothing
To prove
To lose

The depth
The breadth
Nothing too
Far and wide

One day by my side

After searching
The whole world wide

Thinking
All my dreams
Had died

But
Only to see
How my blessings
Had multiplied

Fly free with my
True loves
Letter
For thee-

Complete
The circle
Of pure love
Shared by two
By
Me and you.

In the beginning, I felt some of your expressions/rhymes were a little simple & predictable, but taken altogether with the totality of your message, this is a strong rhyming riff with relatable ideas. Maybe this is just my point of view, but it seems that your writing was less driven by the rhyming, as the message continued on & it felt like you were getting warmed up, more & more, to the task of writing this one! It always as it feels and comes thats how uts expressed- never a planned poem- all to do with emotions fedlings beingvexpressed out of ghe heart and soul- always a bit different not set structure- blessings🌹
