Making A Meal of It

Making A Meal of It

A Poem by Fairplay
"

Aka Get your mouth round this....whoops not quite a tongue twister

"

Blasted Past

The past was a blast and long may it last

rhythm and rhyme are not dead

I have used them both in recent betroth

being ever so useful in bed

I shall make a point of keeping it up

not wanting to change who I am

Blast from the past not just a repast

will fast prove the man who can

My hopes not dashed as others crashed

good nature should always prevail

With odds against stashed I know at last

don’t give up and you never fail
