No Sorrow

Your sweet caress,

gentle touch, 

the love i feel,

deep inside.

its like there is

no more night,

no more tears,

when you hold me tight.

There is no sorrow

near the one who

keeps your soul.

My heart beats fast

and i pull you close

I care

and fear

and live my life

afraid 

that i will miss the chance

to know you more

and see the light.

I feel you kiss,

the gentle touch

what never ends

what eternity gives

and allows me to have.

i hold in hope,

possess the will,

and feel the gentle glow

of you happy soul.

I'll enjoy it while it lasts,

and when its done,

and i cry a thousand tears,

i'll bring myself

back inside,

and keep me behind my shield.
