Forever Far Away

Forever Far Away

A Poem by R.A. Youngblood

Walking soundlessly through the shadows,

In this landscape imbued with darkness.

The creatures are playing rapturously

On the sorrowful leafage scattered on the ground.

Their eyes are filled with obscurity

Like sphinxes in one of the worlds in your subconsciousness,

Hiding below the carpets of your dreams.

I can hear the souls of the heretics

Saying me to cut the linings with this world's reality.

Forever far away I will be taken

By the absorbing waters, eternally shining.

These are the singing shores and dancing minerals.

Heated by the mouths of the flying beasts,

Illuminated by the sunlight flowing in the veins,

Blessed by the moon bathing in the oceans.

Strong imagery though sometimes I feel mislead from what I believe your intent MIGHT have been. Sometimes we can be too vague and THAT takes away from our "vision".
