My Angel with no Halo

My Angel with no Halo

A Poem by Falcon1

My Angel with no Halo

Now I meet this woman
I called her my angel
But she had no halo
and she was like being with hells fire

Her Kiss would melt my heart in my chest
Turn my gold plated heart to molten bubbling gold
Temperatures flying high her lips against mine
I was losing faith I was losing time

Was this a sin of passion a crime
Was this angel of mine leading me blind
My angel with no halo like a diamond in the rough
A gem fallen from the stars above

Sent down from heaven for me to love
but it bothered me that this angel has no halo
She may lead me to hells fiery gates
I prefer to see a glowing halo glowing around her heart

It would be a real fine place to start
An angel with a halo around her heart
My Place in heaven may be reserved
If my angel had her halo around her heart for me.
