Something Good

Something Good

A Poem by Falcon1

Something Good

Something Good Came out of my life
I love my life short and sweet
My daughters are petite and beauty skin deep
I enjoy the way they treat me with respect

I just could of been a lot worth
but they forgave what I did
and began all over again
I didn't have to think twice

I knew It was nice
I treated them like nothing happened
and I gifted my heart towards them
acceptance was the gift from within

I smiled and they smiled too
I knew we accepted each other
I knew our family was glue
The hurts were gone and their young hearts healed

I raised my hands in glory to God
Our lives restored
In the glory of the Holy Spirit
Something Good has become of my life.

forgiveness is not easy but the almighty has forgiven us and given us a way. a contemplative write of faith and what happens when the healing comes. kind of reminds me of the prodigal son. i can well relate ... :)
