The Rose Garden
A Poem by Fallen_Immortal
Description of the deepest recesses of a mind.
|
The misty rain
Falls down again,
Into the rose garden.
The wispy train
Turns back again
Into the rose garden.
‘Cause I feel so alone,
Lost in the icy cold
Of my mind.
The firm hard land
Crumbles to sand,
Within the rose garden.
Fearful you stand,
Lost in the land
Within the rose garden.
‘Cause I feel so alone,
Lost in the icy cold.
Dead in immortal eyes:
Torn roses of my mind.
Tattered, he knows,
Lost in the throes
Inside the rose garden.
Broken, he rose,
Dead, I suppose,
Inside the rose garden.
‘Cause I feel so alone,
Lost in the icy cold.
Dead in immortal eyes:
Torn roses of my mind.
The misty rain,
Thrown back again,
Dies in the rose garden.
The steady wane;
The moon again
Dies in the rose garden.
I try to stay alive
Without wondering why.
Out of my deathly tomb,
Waiting, somewhere, is you.
‘Cause I feel so alone,
Lost in the icy cold.
Dead in immortal eyes:
Torn roses of my mind.
