Day Cycle

Day Cycle

A Poem by sabrina
"

--------

"

12am

moon is shining above your head,

wolves are howling with the slow wind,

shadows move through the night.

4am

sun and moon are fighting for show,

just below the horizon,

early birds are awakening.

8am

sun is peeking through morning clouds,

every soul is waking up,

crisp wind spikes your senses.

12pm

moon has disappeared,

sun is now showing clearly,

meal is being eaten

4pm

sun is burning down on backs,

souls are resting from the heat,

 sun is at its fullest

8pm

moon has come back

sun has retreated

cool weather spreads over the land

12am

it starts all over again

This is a gorgeous representation of a winter night. I love it. ^_^ I can picture this night in my head almost as the scenery to some sort of fantasy. Great job, very unique! (:

Wow! This is really beautiful, Sabrina. I love the conflicting and polar images, such as "moon and sun are fighting for show," then later "moon has comeback; sun has retreated."

The moon has its cycles and yet what's so amazing about her is how different each one is! :)

This poem is quite interesting. Although it's in the form of a list, without much detail, it gave me a lot of imagery! I loved the phrase "Crisp wind spikes your senses." That one really gave me the feeling of chills that run down your back when you're suddenly in the cold. Good job!
