This Carmine Rose

This Carmine Rose

A Poem by Rece Fantoma
"

This comes from the soul. And there's nothing to be said that hasn't already been said... "Though lovers be lost love shall not; And death shall have no dominion." - Dylan Thomas

"
And it's Wonderous strange... My heartbeat...  How our love outlived you....
This indignant heart in it's privaledged role...
as the carmine rose you nurtured to life.
Exalted by design beyond thorns of reproach
Recalls your face in artistic admiration
Collecting dewdrop tears
Enduring the tempest to grow as strong
As the love that held it skyward
Through all storms to remain as gentle to your touch.
Eternal unto you.
