BeautifulA Poem by Poetic Tuesday
Something about the way she's imperfect is so heartbreakingly beautiful.
Perhaps it's how she stays so calm
And feigns happiness, when I know
That she's hurting just as badly as I am.
From the heart of one bleeding raven
She tells me she's fine,
She tells me not to worry,
And all I do is wonder if she's alright.
It's because she cares about me, right?
Or is it how she swears that she loves me?
A pretty little smile can only be a mask for so long, love.
One day, we all have a little breakdown.
The only difference is that
When I break
I tear down walls and emotions and build up pain in their places
When she breaks
She lets me know who she is and why she needs me
And it's so
