Preview of a story I'm writing. Review and give opinions since this is the first of these I've done.

What would you do if, one day, something happened that caused you to learn a family secret that was supposed to stay hidden? Something that gave you the ability to save the person you loved. My name is James Catenam and this happened to me. This is my story and what happened afterwards.

This story line could lead to a complex chain of events as a Psychological Story. Just suppose that James' love would be having subconscious self-destructive bouts caused by deep feelings of guilt related to this secret event from the distant past. Suggesting anything related to this secret to the person affected would be as dangerous as lighting matches near a keg of gunpowder. James would be walking a tightrope.

There are many kinds of secrets. Perhaps if you just called your story "The Secret", then everyone would be driven by curiosity to read your story to learn that "Secret".
