A Million Pieces (Lyrics)

A Million Pieces (Lyrics)

A Chapter by Kira

(Piano, Soft Guitar, Little Violin)

(Intro...)

I'm lost. Broken. Gone.

Shattered-in-to-bits

My lips move the patterns

From the one time that we kissed

Havin' such a hard time letting go

And I finally know why

You took my heart with you when you

Left me behind...

(Lull--1! 2! 3! 4!)

A thousand pieces left with your face

A thousand with your smile

A thousand pieces left with your eyes

Deeper than a mile

A thousand pieces left with your hair

I'd twine my fingers into

A million pieces of my heart

(Unexpected hush) The heart that I left with you...

(Same intro, but 1/2 the length)

No. More. Reason.

To keep going on,

I thought that I was stronger than this,

But I know I was wrong.

Having such a hard time letting go,

And I finally know why,

You took my heart with you when you

Left me behind...

(Same lull, same chorus, ending with "The heart that I left with you")

I am lost (lost)

Please come back (back)

You've thrown my heart (thrown my--)

All out of whack,

So, remember me ('member me)

Do it, please (do it please)

Maybe we'll get back to this,

Eventu'lly...

(Lull)

A thousand pieces left with your grace

A thousand with our memories

A thousand pieces left with all those times

I'd call you just to tease

A thousand pieces left with your ears

I'd whisper sweet truths into

A million pieces of my heart

The heart that I gave to you.

_

WOW! great job!

First, I read your Bio and I like you already.
Wish I could hear it with music and voice, because songs do sound so different. I only have the words to go on.

I loved this line.... it was unique, and new idea to kissing....

My lips move the patterns

From the one time that we kissed

This part really sounded like a song....

You've thrown my heart (thrown my--)

All out of whack,

Over all, nice lyrics.... like I said, hard to hear here and so I am reading it as poetry. I would work on going with more lines like the "pattern... kiss"
