After All...

After All...

A Poem by FocusedAmnesia

After all
this, the rain falls harder,
Falling like hail, bouncing off the roof.
There's something relaxing about it.
Entirely soaked, I sit in the storm's eye,
Realizing that I can hide no longer.
Anchored down, somewhere in amnesia.
Love and light not here at all.
Lost in this loss that haunts me still.
After all, you were never fully mine.

The words of this are on the brink of being to simple but it is unnoticable due to the fact that so much is bearing at the depth of it, wonderfully
