Barry

Barry

A Poem by Fool
"

Self explanatory

"

I thought I could handle it, I thought I had control
When I saw you coffin, I did crumble, I did fold.
For it was not just your death that tore us a part

It was the loss of promise and hope, just like a false start

We walk behind you, face puffy, stained with tears

Mind dances and rolls with memories that hurt

The tolling bell cuts deep as the moment nears

For today we bury you as well as our hearts

Very profound, Barry you have captured the pains and hurt of the human heart as it experiences loss.
