Why

Why

A Poem by Forever true

Why
Why is it that you have left me
My closest of friends
whom i have loved
Dont you miss me
Or these memories
That we forever share
For your absence
Leaves me in great dispear
Dont you remember
When you and i were together
That snowy valintines day
Sharing hands
Sharing love
Or that valintines dance
Though i drove for miles
Your smile made it worth while
I question you leaving
But we all know i was the one
who made you say
Your final goodbye

Alright, first of all, this is a lovely poem that sings with the broken heart in my soul. :)

As to grammatical whatnot;
Not every line has to capitalized.

Punctuation is very important. It helps with the flow of the poem.

*despair and *valentine's

Poetry is something that I personally find to be self taught. You learn how to properly write and who you are through your own words. I've been a poet for ten years and my work didn't start to become what it is now until about two years ago. It's a learning process that shouldn't be rushed. Take your time and write what you love. :)

Love is never written in stone nor is it promised. And when its gone, it's so sad.
