Things that happen across my brain from time to time.

I am made up of stardust.

Stars are made of the same stuff as earth stuff.

Webs of carbon and hydrogen and nitrogen.

Bright fiery storms of light and life.

Humans are weird.

Toes and fingers and eyes and noses are so neat!

Benders of light and joints and particles!

But also icky sticky gooey nasty...

Silver is a pleasant word.

I like this set of vowels and consonants very much.

Pleasant sound and texture on my tongue.

Shimmery glimmering hopefulness.

Art is not silent.

Art screams and whimpers and wails and whines.

It does not 'go gentle into that good night.'

An error message in social machines.

What a neat piece of work.
We humans, we really are weird, aren't we.
Silver really is a great word, but I like lumanecently
bright even better.
By the way, there is no such word as lumanecently.
Love the light heartedness of this poem...not too serious, not too silly.

I love that you credited the quote. Excellent! That last stanza.... I have recently found myself telling people an aspect of their work is screaming off the page. That stanza speaks loudly, maybe even screams.

May I burnish your silver? Removing goo and such is an awesome responsibility but, hey, someone's gotta do it, right? Why does Art scream and whimper and wail and whine? Are you torturing poor Art again? You've thrown Art into that Social Machine again haven't you? Don't they recommend the gentle cycle (not the industrial-strength cycle)? Hey! Throw in some of that stardust and a touch of toe goo; bet that would spiffy it right up? What'cha think?

Whew! Oh, what a relief it is. The possibilities inherent through interacting matter are, most likely, probabilistic in nature and pretty much on purpose every where else. I was going to segue to an excerpt from an Alka Seltzer(tm) commercial from the distant past but then thought better of it as the reference (and subsequent context) would be period-sensitive and prone to temporal degradation. Have you ever noticed that sometimes people are like a flock of birds sitting on a wire? They chatter, preen and stare at things; seemingly without any rhyme or reason. There should be more poet-philosopher birds, don't you think? O_o

It would be most advantageous to have more poet-philosophers among the crows and peacocks. More thinking is hardly a negative thing... unless attacked by a thought monster who feeds on the energy of the idea. Then you should find your foil hat and racquet. And maybe a handful of that stardust-and-toe-goo you so thoughtfully mentioned earlier. That should, in theory, fight off a thought monster.

The journey is long... time passes slowly in this dank, dark cavern. Only the bats bring occasional evidence of things outside. The guano is piling up nicely though.

The Cave of Smarmy Mossikins harbour creatures great and small, each with their own fantastic form and function. I believe many to be graduates or at least aficionados of the Bauhaus branch of Natura Bravada.
