what makes us humain is the sad fact that we’re not perfect …That everyone of us has imperfections …some in the inside and others on the outside …and even some have more flaws than others ….but at the end none of us is really  perfect ….and over the years mankind learned to live with this fact …hell at one point people use to cherish this realization …..but that didn’t last ….by the year of 2020….a new virus hit the world….causing millions of deaths all over the globe …scientists gave it the name of the ‘’TPS’’virus…that first started in east asia but soon spread everywhere …the virus attack directly the heart causing death in less than 72 hours after infection …. the world was at shock…religious groups all over the world called it the beginning of judgment day and the end of mankind…wars stopped all over the world …people just putted their arguments a side and worked for hope  to creating a cure …..and by the year of 2023….doctor  ‘’ John A Richards ‘’ a well knows doctor in biology  finally found the right cure for the TPS virus ….and a few months after that everyone infected was receiving this cure…..and what do you know  by the beginning of 2024 ….the virus was gone …..but sadly few months later the international association of health declared that despite the virus being gone …the people infected still had the gene that caused it in the first place ….This news caused a world wide panic ….people from all over the globe started demanding that the previously affected people should be killed or prisoned to prevent the virus from coming back…the world has seen what the virus could do and was not wiling to risk that happening again ……and by the beginning of 2025 the tension was at high ….pushing the ‘’UN’’ to declare what’s called the ‘’P.U.R.E’’ regulation …..which inhibit any person affected with the bad gene from transferring his DNA to the next generation ….in other words preventing him from getting married or thinking about having kids ……this regulation caused a worldwide protests and rejection…..but the law was set ….and by the end of 2025 …..95 percent of the world population voted ‘’YES’’ to the regulation ….making ‘’P.U.R.E’’ …. The only chance humanity have for preventing the horrible events of 2020……and in the middle of all this mess….there I am ….my name is ‘’Ace stoodman’’ ….im a 20 years old guy living in  south of france ….my father used to be a local legend …yeah  the infamous ‘’alexander sinary’’ ….the guy who was involved all that mess that happened in paris 10 years a go ….yeah yeah ..im sure you’re wondering why I don’t have his last name ….that’s a long story ….i haven’t seen my father for 5 years and I honestly tough I will never do ….i was a happy art student and my future seemed simple and clear ….but man  how things change …. this is my story …so hear me out .…..this is:

P.U.R.E: The Revelation of Ace

Chapter 01: light…camera…fractions

Despite that we as humain are week and helpless …we can be very powerfull at the same time and one of our strength areas are ‘’acceptance’’ ….we as humain can accept everything if we wanted to ….we accepted the fact that our life is short and doomed in this earth …we accepted the fact that our bodies can be so fragile that a virus could kill us in a few hours and finally we accepted the fact that art students still have to study math and even worse fractions ….god …what the hell is this ?

Seconds later an old man stood up and said:

Old man : hey you …in the last table …is there a problem mister ‘’stoodman’’?

Ace woke up from his daydreaming and said:

Ace: no sir

Old man : really because you don’t seem very interested in today’s lesson….dont you think its important to know fractures ?

Ace: ah honestly sir ….no

At that moment …the girl in front of him turned around and said:

Girl: what are you doing Ace ….shut up (low voice) ….im sorry professor ‘’ charify’’….ace here doesn’t know what he is saying

Charify: no …please let him talk miss ‘’ Payland’’….mister ‘’stoodman’’ please …why do you think math is not important to you

Ace: well to be honest sir ….im here to be a film director and don’t see how math can help me do that …and if you want my honest opinion I think ….the only good thing about adding her to our course …is you getting paid a lot of money to teach fractions one hour in the week

At that moment the girl infront of him putted her head on the table and said ‘’ every freaking time Ace’’….meanwhile professor ‘’charify’’ looked at ace and smiled ……..

5 hours later ………

A guy was on his knees cleaning up a closet when a girl walked in and said:

Girl: how many times did I see you like this Ace ?

Ace turned around and said:

Ace: oh …hi jessy …are you going to help me or you just going to stand there and lecture me as always

Jessy: so this is the punishment for what you said to professor ‘’charify’’ huh ??

Ace:  yeah …he wanted to bring my father in …then he remembered my situation

Jessy: oh really ?? that must be one of the few things about not knowing where your father is

Ace: oh yeah (smile)

So you might be wondering who is this girl ….well I’ll tell you …her name is ‘’Jessica payland’’ ….the daughter of the famous British actor ‘’ john payland’’ …..she came here to become a famous actress like her father and boy does she have it all …the hair …the eyes …the face ….she is your typical blond hair green eyes actress ….and here I was next to her ….a poor kid who grow up in a crappy apartement with a gambeling addicted mother and a father who died when I was in the wood …. I know …I know …you’re wondering …what about Alexander sinary …well I’ll tell you ….alex met my mom back when I was a 1 year old boy and after my mom passed away 5 years a go from the TPS virus …alex offered to take care of me as if I were his own kid …. So I grow up with him….heard his stories…he treated me like I was his own ….he tough me every skill he knew …he even tough me how to use guns ….man that was fun …I rememeber asking him once to adopt me so I can have his name and carry his legacy ….but he smiled at me and said’’ in my religion we can’t adopt kids …but don’t worry little buddy …you don’t need a little piece of paper to know that I love you as my own son’’

Yeah life with alex was great …I didn’t need a thing …until one day …he was gone ….i tried looking for him ….but all I found is a letter saying that he is sorry but he has to leave for a while and that he will always watch out over me ….i didn’t see him ever since.

Seconds later ace woke up from his daydreaming at the sound of someone yelling:

Person: ace …..earth calling ace …are you there ??

Ace: oh sorry jessy …I was distracted for a second

Jessy: you do know daydreaming won’t   clean this closets …step aside I’ll show you how to clean something the right way

Seconds later jessy pushed ace aside and started helping him with the cleaning while ace kept staring at her in confusion .

You see until this day I don’t understand how she and I became friends were 2 different people ….im not rich …hell if it wasn’t for the donation of some anonymous person they wouldn’t even accept me in this private art school …but here I am …..in my second year of becoming a film director …my childhood dream and im studying with the child of a famous actor …can life get any better …okay enough daydreaming …I should help jessy out …its my mess after all.

Chapter 02 : The P.U.R.E test

1 week later …..

Today is the probably the biggest day of the year ….its the first ‘’P.U.R.E test’’….you see ever since the regulation was forced on ….all previously infected people or how most of people call them now …. the ‘’Pures’’….pretty ironic name if you think about it …anyway all Pures in the world have been registered in the system preventing them from stuff like marriage and gamete donation ….and if you think that’s sad enough …any baby born from Pure people is terminated at once and the 2 Pures responsible are automatically  sentenced to a life of prison …yeah its an ugly truth …and until this day people still can’t cope with this …after all what the UN did to try and preserve  humain rights ….there she is ….violating them in the worst way possible ….but I guess after what people seen in 2020 or what they call it now ‘’ Hell year’’….everyone had to accept this evil to prevent the bigger evil….the ‘’TPS virus’’ ….i lost my mom to that stupid virus and I guess I agree with them …this virus should stay dead no matter what .

So today in all over the world …..people at work…at home …or even at school …get tested for the infected gene ….its what they call ‘’ the P.U.R.E test’’ …..since scientist don’t know yet how the gene get mutated … the UN declared this day ….to supervise all healthy people and just in case any healthy ones become infected …they simply go to the program and becomes a PURE……sounds scary I know but the UN assured the public that it was just a precaution and there is no evidence of people getting the bad gene from external factors like the sun or something like that …..so im not worried….but looking at jessy walking beside me to our school right now …she seems a little nervous ….i sould say something….yeah I should :

Ace: hey jessy are you allright ?

Jessy: yeah ….im good …its just a big day today huh ace ??

Ace: don’t worry …you heard the UN representive today …its just a precaution (smile)

Jessy: but what if …someone can get the gene …what if you can become a pure …I don’t want that …I want to have a family ….i want to be a mother someday…(sad look)

Ace: easy …calm down …you’ll be fine …trust me…we’ll go there and 5 minutes later will be out laughing and smiling

Jessy: I hope so (worried look)

Ace: hey ..cheer up …look … how about I’ll treat you to our favorite ice cream shop after we’re done …okay ??

Jessy: really ?? …..you mean ’’the golden scope’’ ??

Ace: yeah sure …..

man that place is damn expensive but I guess jessy deserve it …she is a good friend …always looking out for me ….it’s the least I can do …so what if a scope of ice cream there is half of my scholarship money ….i’ll just eat beans for a week …its should be fine.

minutes later …they reached their art school and walked in to find men with suits and guns scanning people with some sort of a device ….Ace and Jessy took their place in line and started waiting their turn ….minutes passed then hours …finally it was jessy turn …she walked in with shaky fingers and stood in front of the man ….he swapped the device around her while she was closing her eyes out of fear …second later he pet her on the shoulder and said:

scary guy: miss …miss open your eyes

jessy: yeah ??

scary guy: you can go now …you’re clear …next (looking at ace)

man the look at jessy’s face was priceless ….that smile of her …its like when someone barely pass his exam …I couldn’t help myself but have her idiotic smile on my face too and in a weird situation too :

scary guy: what are you smiling at kid ??

ace: oh sorry sir….nothing

and so the big scary guy started scanning me up and down …seconds passed then minutes and he kept scanning …then he suddenly stopped and said:

scary guy: hey ..i think I have a broken scanner here ..its stopped working (looking at his friends)

what a luck …the scanner stopped working in my turn …damn I hate the wait … I never been a patient person ….oh never mind here he comes with another scanner

scary guy: sorry for making you wait ..i brought an advanced one …this should take couple seconds

and as he started scanning me again …all the sudden a white light appeared ….i was relieved it wasn’t red …that means im not infected ….time for ice cream …but the scary guy grabbed my arm  and said:

scary guy: you need to come with us kid

ace: what ?? what do you mean ..im clear

scary guy: please step out of there and come with me

then jessy looked at me with her innocent eyes and yelled:

jessy: hey …where are you taking him ??

scary guy: please step back miss …this is a matter of national security

jessy: hey wait ….stop …Leave him alone

and so jessy kept screaming and yelling while two of the scariest men ever kept dragging me toward a green door …. I didn’t understand what was going on and I had no idea of what awaits behind that door .

 

 

 

 

Chapter03 : the return of a ghost

Being a father for the first time is said to be the happiest moment of your life and why wouldn’t it be …a little part of you and the women you love got together in one small helpless baby ….and so the true mission of a father is never over …just because your kids are all grown up …you shouldn’t ignore them and focus on yourself … a true father always watch out for his kids …whether they know it or not…that’s what my true dad ‘’alexander sinary’’ used to tell me growing up …hearing him say thoes words brought joy to my heart …I felt like we will always be together …..of course I was just a naïve kid and here I was 5 years later … sitting on a chair in a dark room ….alone with my toughts …..untill someone walked in and came  close to me and said:

Person: ‘’ace stoodman’’ ….son of ‘’marrisa and blake stoodman’’ am I right ??

Ace: who the hell are you ?? and why am I here ??

Person: oh excuse me ….i didn’t introduce myself …my name is ‘’moussa’’ …..chief of the “Pure Supervising Divison” …or ‘’PSD’’ if you like.

Ace: PSD ??? I heard about you guys …but what am I doing here ..im not infected or anything

Moussa: well mister Ace it’s a lot complicated than that im afraid…..you see …I knew your father back in the day

Ace: my father ….that’s impossible he died when I was in the wound

Moussa: im not talking about your biological father im talking about the man who raised you….you’re true father

Ace: Alex ???

Moussa: yep …..mister alexander sinary …im not sure if he told you about me ….but I worked with him before and we may have disagreed on some things …but I still respect that guy …you know you remind of him a little

Ace: what do you mean By that ?? where is alex ??

Moussa: I was hoping you will tell me that …but that’s okay …that’s not why we’re here today is it ??

Ace: why am I here then ….all I know is that I got scanned and I didn’t get the infamous red light …im clear ..right …so why am I locked here ??

Moussa: its true kid ….you didn’t get the red light and that means you’re not infected …..but you didn’t get the green light either ….you got the white light  remember ??

Ace: the white light ??

Seconds later moussa brought back a scanner from his closet and showed it to me and said:

Moussa: you see this is called ‘’ P.U.R.E scanner 10000’’ ….its our latest model and very easy to use ….red means infected …green means ‘’healthy’’ ….but it also has the white light ….white light my boy means ‘’ no humain body detected’’

Ace: what the hell ??? what does this mean ??

Moussa: basically son …it means you won’t be getting home tonight …we need to do more tests ….and since you’re probably not  an alien or a ghost ….there must be an explanation to why the scanner can’t identify you

Ace: how is that even possible  ??

Moussa: that’s what we are going to find out…please follow me …we need to head back to our headquarters .

And so I had no choice ….i didn’t want to go with this moussa guy but a part of me deep down wanted to know the truth …am I infected and how ….and as I stood up to follow moussa …a loud fire alarm hit the place ….moussa look up and said:

Moussa: damn it …what’s now…I don’t see no fire …stay here ‘’stoodman’’ ….i’ll be right back

And so moussa left and i stayed there leaning on the wall with a big mirror in the middle of it …..until suddenly the door opened and a guy in the PSD uniform and halmet walked in and said:

Guy: mister ‘’stoodman’’ please follow me ..we need to go

Ace: what about moussa ??

Guy: agent moussa will join us shortly ….have no worry

And so I followed the agent out of the building until we reached a pretty crappy looking car ….he looked back at me and said:

Guy: please get in

Ace: what about moussa ??? he said he was going to escort me personaly

Guy: he will join us later at the safe house

Ace: safe house ??? he said we were going to their headquarters ….wait ….who the hell are you ….you don’t seem to be one of moussa’s men and this car doesn’t look like an agent’s car

Guy: please Ace don’t make things difficult …get in the car

Ace: the hell I am ….who are you and what do you want from me ?

And before I knew it the guy came close and grabbed my arm …I tried to counter his move …but he used his other hand and twisted my arm behind my back and dragged me inside the car and locked the doors…..seconds later he took the driver seat and started driving away while I was screaming:

Ace: help …..please ….help ….im being kidnapped

Guy: don’t bother Ace ….the glass is sound proof …no one can hear you

Ace: let me out …you have the wrong guy …im just a poor kid with no parents …no one will pay you a ransom please …believe me

Guy: oh really ?? not even a father  or a mother ??

Ace: my father died before I was born and my mother died in the events of ‘’hell year’’ ….you have to believe me …im all alone

At that moment the guy in the PSD uniform took his helmet and stopped the car and said:

Guy: you’ll never be alone while im alive ace …I told you that million times a go

At that moment looking at the guy’s face ….i couldn’t move …am I dreaming …is this real ….it cant be ….but it seems real ….he is really standing infront of me …I can see him …I can smell his colon ….its him….it must be him

Ace: bu….bu…..bu…..but how is that possible ??

Guy: surprised to see me ace ….long time no see kido (smile)

Ace: Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad (shocked look)

 

 

 

 

Chapter 04 : to trust what can’t be trusted

So here I was …..sitting in a moving car ….few feet away from the only family I still had ….the father who raised me and always been at my side …well until he was gone all the sudden 5 years a go ….but here I was inches away from him again yet I was speechless ….seconds later he adjusted his car mirror and looked at me trough it and said:

Alex: you’re not going to say anything Ace….you must have millions of questions by now

Ace: (silent)

Alex: okay fine …then I’ll ask the questions …..there is something that been bothering me for months now son ….but when are you going to ask that pretty blond friend of yours out ?

Ace: huh ?? what ?? how do you know about her ??

Alex: don’t you remember what I said in my note …I will always watch out over you son (smile)

Ace: stop calling me son …if you were really my dad …you wouldn’t have gone and left me …you would have been next to me not spying at me from a distance…alex …you promised me that we will always be together …you promised me …remember ??? (tears in his eyes)

Alex: I know I did ace and im very sorry but you have to understand that sometimes in life you have to break promises for the sake of greater good…you’re young now ace but someday you’ll understand

Ace: understand what ?? you left me …why didn’t you call or write ….even people in jail write to their families ….where were you all these years ??

Alex: I can’t tell you right now son ….you have to understand …im only doing what’s right for you…I only want your happiness   my son

Ace: then you shouldn’t have left me …I needed you the most that time…I needed someone to help me trough high school ..i needed someone to gave me life advices …love advices …I needed someone to yell at me when I take bad grades …I just needed a father ….and you weren’t there ….so how dare you call me your son ….when you weren’t a father ??

Alex: ace (sad look in his eyes)

Ace: im sorry dad …I didn’t mean it ….it’s just hard seeing you after all these years

Alex: I know son and I don’t blame you ….look I have to ask you one more favor …can you do it for me kido

Ace: what is it ??

Alex: remember when you were a kid …and you would jump from chairs and tables and I would catch you midair …remember how every time you trusted me that no matter what happens I will always catch you and I’ll never let you get hurt

Ace: yeah …I remember that (smile)

Alex: I want you to trust me that way again … I cant tell you a lot of things right now  but I can tell you this …I will always catch you when you fall …and I wont let any harm happen to you

Ace: I know ….I trust you dad…I really do (smile)

Alex: good ….and look ….we’re here …your house …get out and have some rest and don’t worry about the PSD ….i’ll handle it …they won’t bother you again

Ace: what ?? how so ?? and how did you know my house ??

Alex: like I said …just trust me ….and ace ….

Ace: yeah ???

Alex: tell that girl how you feel …life is too short to be a coward

Ace: hey ..im not a coward ….i just …..hey wait dad ….wait ……Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad

And before I can finish my words …his car was long gone …as it was all a freaking dream …..am I going to see him again …is he ever coming back …thoes were the question running inside my head while I was walking toward my stupid house .

 

The very next day ……..

I couldn’t shake what happened yesterday from my mind …the white light thing ….the return of alex …..and what  that moussa guy said ….its all too much …but I promised alex that’ll trust him and that’s exactly what im going to do …I wonder if he is somewhere watching me trough a scope….he always been a great sniper …..okay enough Ace …you’re getting paranoid here …the best thing to do is to act as if nothing happened …im going to continue walking to my school and study like usual .

And while I was lost in my toughts ….a girl started yelling from the distance:

Girl: ace ……ace …..aaaaaaaaaace

So I turned out to see a blond girl running with all of her might …I never saw jessy run before …she always skipped gym class at our school and she always said that she hate running …’’it’s messy and gross and I won’t look good doing it ‘’ thoes were her words…but there she was running toward me…despite sweat coming down her red flushed cheeks …I couldn’t help but to think that she was the cutest sweaty girl I ever saw……seconds later she came closer and said:

Jessy: ace …..what ….what (big breaths)…..what …happened ….what …

Ace: easy jessy …im allright …..there is nothing to worry about

Jessy: I tried calling your cell phone but I couldn’t get to you

Ace: im sorry I forget to charge it (fake smile)

And so I gaved her a big happy fake smile trying to hide the reason I didn’t charge my phone was not because I forget but because I couldn’t pay the electricity bill this week …but I can’t say that to her ….im already on thin ice …wearing the same clothes for 2 weeks …..she will think im a looser .

Jessy: again with the fake smiles ace …when will you learn that im an expert in faking stuff…im an actress after all

Ace: huh ?? I don’t know what are you talking about and you’re still an actress in training …so be a little modest here blondie

Jessy: don’t call me that (angry look)

Ace: hahaha

And so I kept walking to school with my best friend ever …miss ‘’jessy payland’’ …damn even her name is cool…and I don’t care what my father said …there is no way im telling her how I feel about her ….i don’t want to loose her and there is no way she ‘ll date someone like me …let’s face it …this is not a Disney novel .

Jessy: here you go again …lost in your toughts …what are you thinking about ‘’stoodman’’ ….oh i know  …you can’t fool me

Ace: oh really now….what ??

Jessy: you want me to go out with you (smile)

What the hell …how did she ….how is this possible ….is she psychic or something …what the hell should I do

Ace: ahhhhhhhhhh (akward look)

Jessy: okay let’s go now …the hell with school

Ace: are you sure ??

Jessy: yeah …and I’ll even buy (smile)

What kind of date is this ….the girl buying for the guy …does she thinks its because im too poor to afford that place .

Ace:  oh really ??

Jessy: it’s the least I can do after what you been trough yesterday ….come on  let’s go to the ‘’golden scope’’ together

Oh hold on a minute …is she talking about the promise I made to her yesterday …then this is not a date …or is it …im so confused ….i can’t ask her …I’ll look like an idiot …I may just go with it …im sure I’ll realize if this is a date along the way…..im not that dumb ……am i??

Jessy: come on Ace ….time for some golden ice cream my friend

Oh she said friend ….that means its not a date ….cool that was fast ….but im glad it’s out of the way .

Jessy: we should hurry to get a table of two …I don’t want any of my friends joining us if they saw us there

What ?? she doesn’t want anybody else to join us …then this is a date ….but what if ….OOOOH …..damn this is more complicated that math …..what the hell should I do now ???

Chapter 05 : the beginning of the end

20 minutes later ……

So here I was at the fanciest ice cream shop of all france ….the golden scope …..the reason its so expensive is believe  me or not …they use real gold in the ice cream ….hell even the spoons you eat with are pure gold …..one scope of ice cream here is half my scholarship money ….i guess im kinda glad she offered to buy ……yep that’s her….miss ‘’jessy payland’’ ….money never been a problem to her …yet she always seem to come to school by foot ….really odd ….hey I should ask her that ….at least that will break this awkward silence right now:

Ace: hey jessy how come you never arrive in a fancy car like the rest of the rich kids ??

Jessy: ah well the school is 15 minutes away from my house …that will be  very stupid

Ace: I know but …that doesn’t stop the rest of our classmates

Jessy: let me ask you something …..do you consider me as your rich little friend or am I something more ?

Ace: ah what do you mean ????

I hope she doesn’t mean what I think she means ……because I can’t answer that …..I rather got hit by a train

Jessy: I mean …..when you look at me ….how do you see me ….a friend or a best friend …..or maybe even a ……….

And as waiting to hear thoes last words with shaky fingers ….all the sudden and before I know it ….a group of masked men came out of a car and came close and putted a bag over our heads and started dragging us out …..i tried resisting ….but they were too strong and too numbered to get away of them….i couldn’t do a thing to save myself or save poor innocent jessy….i failed myself and  her once again .

So here I was trapped in a moving car at the sound of jessy crying out by my side….poor little girl ….i just couldn’t handle the guilt ..im pretty sure this is all my fault …it has to be ….they must  want some thing from me ….and  poor jessy just get caught up in this mess ….so I had to say and try something despite what my dad ‘’alex’’ taught me when I was young ….he said ‘’son …there is a chance that you could get kidnapped or something similar one day ….in that case listen to this carefully …never say or oppose anything they say or do …especially if you were in a moving car or train ……just keep quiet …because there is a big chance thoes men are not the one in charge and if you say something wrong or agitate them …you’ll put yourself in danger ….you have to wait until you meet the boss ….he is the one you can persuade …I hope you understood that son ‘’

Yep I understood loud and clear dad …but im sorry …I have to say something ….i can’t let poor jessy in this condition so I opened my mouth and said:

Ace: look …I don’t know who you are and who you work for but we are willing to double what they promised you if you let us go

One of the men: shut up back there …did I say you can talk ?

Ace: just hear me out …I’ll pay you handsomely if you just let the poor girl go …she has nothing to do with this

One of the men: I said …be quiet …or I’ll shut you up myself

Ace: what kind of men are you …kidnapping a poor little girl when your boss specifically said to get only me …he wont be happy about this …im sure

One of them : I said shut the hell up kid (angry look)

Ace: why ?? what are you going to do …you’re just bunch of puppets at the hand of some guy …who is playing you for his own benefit

I might said some stuff I shouldn’t …I lost control talking to thoes guys …that I broke every rule alex taught me ….i was reckless thinking about the safety of jessy ….and I guess I deserved what was coming next …because I can feel one of the masked men pulling his gun and pointing at my head …it felt like it was the end …..and as I was waiting for all things to end ….i felt a sharp pain in my skull ….it felt like he hit me with that gun with blunt force ….seconds later I felt down cold at the sound of jessy yelling ‘’ ace ….ace …what’s going on’’.

I never lived an easy life ….ever since I was born ….hearing the stories alex used to tell me about my mom when the two of them were neighbors …….he always said nice things about her ….how she use to remind him of a girl he loved ….how she made him realize a lot of stuff when he was in a dark place in his life …..he didn’t even mention that she was a gambler and that she almost lost me one day …her own child in a gambling debt  ….thoes stories I only heard from my social worker ….yeah alex wanted me to have good memories about my mom ….and I needed to hear thoes words ….when I first lost her during the events of ‘’hell year’’ …..i couldn’t process it …I was a little kid …all alone in the world ….i didn’t want to live anymore …and if it weren’t for alex showing up …I would have killed myself long time a go ….but he was there for me …he raised me …taught me his religion ….taught me the real meaning of life …and I never taught of suicide after that ….even at my darkest moments …..i loved life …and I was clinging to it no matter what …..that’s why when I found myself in this situation today …I was determined to get myself and jessy out of it …alive …no matter what .

And as I was out cold ….suddenly I felt a cold running trough my body …I opened my eyes to find myself …draping wet  …and tied up in a chair …in a dark room ….and as my eyes adjusted ….i noticed a big guy with a beard in front of me ….he smiled and said:

Guy: im sorry I had to use water to wake you up …you were out cold

Ace: where the hell am I ??? who are you ??

Guy: oh im sorry …im being rude ….my name is ‘’Zeus’’ ….welcome to our little home …its not much ….but its our little heaven .

Ace: where the hell is jessy ?? what did you do to her ??

Zeus: don’t worry mister Ace ….she is fine …she is resting in the next room ….im very sorry she got dragged in to this ….my men can be a little stupid sometimes …rest assured she will be fine

Ace: who the hell are you guys ?? and what do you want from me ??

And as zeus smiled back at me …the door  opened and a young women wearing military clothes walked in saying:

Girl:  boss ….the machine is ready …we can start now !

Zeus : splendid ….please turn on the lights …our little friend here is a wide awake (smile)

Gir: yes sir (serious look)

Second later the lights were on …I started looking around …it was shocking …the place looked like a science lab or something ….wires everywhere …I looked back at zeus and said:

Ace: what the hell is this ??

Zeus: this is ….my friend ‘’stoodman’’ is the way for a new future ….please first let me introduce to you to my right hand …..you can call her ‘’M’’

Ace : M ????

Zeus: yeah she is the best man or rather women I have …she can be a little fisty but she will be watching out over you in your stay here with us

Ace: you make is sound as if im a guest here …then why am I tied up …and what the hell you want from me ??

Zeus: all in good times my friend …first let me introduce you to a good friend of mine and my left hand …please introduce yourself

And all the sudden a guy with thick glasses and a lab coat came out of the shadows holding a chart in his hands ….he came very close to my face and said:

Guy: remarkable ….this is the guy

Zeus: yes he is

Guy: but he is just a little kid …..dont be scared child ….my name is ‘’G’’ ……and im here to help you help us

Ace: help you ?? what are you talking about ??

Zeus: I can explain that ….you see my friend …we are a group that first started in 2015….we work together to achieve world peace and freedom to all individuals ….you may heard of us …we call ourselves ‘’the sons of liberty’’

I did hear about the sons of liberty when I was watching tv one day ….they are responsible for many bombings all over the world …..the “UN” called them  the largest terrorist group in the modern world ….and here I was kidnapped by them

Zeus: I take from your silence that you heard of us

Ace: I did …you’re terrorists (angry look)

Zeus: that’s what your government tells you …but we rather call ourselves as the real freedom fighters

Okay I can’t keep saying things like that …he been such a gentelman so far …that its scaring me ….nobody is this nice and especially a terrorist leader …I should just figure out what they want from me

Ace: so why am I here …if you don’t mind me asking

Zeus: its simple my friend ….you’re here to help us

Ace: help you ??? im a just and art student …what do you want from me ….i  really think you got the wrong guy here …there is no possible way for me to help your cause

Zeus:  but you do ….we know about the white light  mister stoodman (creepy smile) 

Alex: (shocked look)

Chapter 6 : The S.S.S machine

And so here I was tied to a chair in front  of a bunch of terrorists and to make matters worse they knew about the white light incident  …. Things didn’t look too good but I didn’t gave up …..i looked back at zeus and said:

Ace: I don’t know what are you talking about ??

Zeus: no use in deny it my dear Ace ….we heard about your little incident yesterday and we are well aware of what does that mean (smile)

Ace: huh ??

And out of no where ….G got very close to my face again and started talking with a very fast tone :

G: you got the while little light kido… and the white light means …you couldn’t be detected ….as if you were a ghost ….an alien ….or even a piece of wood  ( creepy smile)

Ace: so what if this is true ….how is this in any concern to you??

Zeus: I’ll answer that …thank you ‘’G’’….you see mister ace …we don’t want  to know how a kid like you  managed to bypass the most advance  scanners in the world and we don’t even care about the fact that you could be infected right now or worse …we just need that special power of yours

Ace: how is my ability can help you ??

Zeus: well I think its better if G explains it ….im not very good in computer stuff …..G please

G: of course boss ….mister stoodman do you know who is responsible in supervising all the ‘’Pures’’ activities ??

Ace: you mean PSD ???

G: no look ever further ….who is the ‘’big boss’’ ??

Ace: I don’t know …..the UN is the one that created the PSD and the ‘’P.U.R.E’’ regulation so she must be in charge

G: bingo mister ace ….you’re not as stupid as you seem ….yes the united nations is the supervising party of all this mess ….and we need to help us  hack in to their server (smile)

Ace: what ?? me hacking the UN ???

G: exactly kido (creepy smile)

Ace: you must be out of your mind …the UN has the most advanced security system in the world and I barely know how to log in to my ‘’facebook’’ account….how do you expect me to help you do this ….you must have the wrong guy …im just a lazy  art student .

G: we know about that mister ace and frankly I tough with the advancement of science that they will shut down these pointless schools for art and music ….but back to the point ….you are the only one that can hack to their servers ….for one simple reason and one only ….scanners cannot detect you ….and there is no way you’ll sound the alarm inside their network ….you will be as if you weren’t there …..a  pure ghost

Ace: but I can’t do it I have none to little knowledge about computers ….how do you expect me to do all of things

G: that’s my son is  where my baby come to work (smile)

Ace: your baby ??

G: I call her the S.S.S machine ….it stands for ‘’Solid Snake Simulator’’

Ace: what the hell is that ??

G: its my pride invention ….you see my dear boy …solid snake was a popular video game character back in the 2000s….he was some sort of a spy that could infiltrate  any place ….he was a true legend and my favorite character and  you see …my machine is the same thing ….she can infiltrate any server by transferring your conscious using the latest    ‘’brain-Net waves technology’’ into the internet ….in there you will feel like you’re just there in person … it’s not real but your mind will use the net data to give you a familiar environment…..it’s a little confusing I now but it wroks like a charm

Ace: what the hell ??? I tough stuff like that are impossible and nothing but a future dream japan is trying to create in the next 10 years ….it can’t be true

Zeus: but it is true my friend and you’re about to see it by yourself ….mister G here will prepare you in the machine and you’ll be sent to the cyber world there you’ll use the private network to hack undetected to the UN servers and get us the info we need

Ace: what ?? even if I believe you ….why would I help terrorists like you ….i love my country and Im not a traitor

Zeus: I was hoping you wont say that my friend ….but since you don’t believe in our cause and you’re not willing to assist us ….i’ll have to persuade you with  methodes I truly hate

Ace: what are you talking about ??

At that moment the girl …the one called M came close to me and slammed the wall and said:

M: do what we say or we will kill the girl ….got it kid (angry look)

Zeus: M….please no need for this kind of tone …please excuse her mister ace

Ace: don’t you dare touch jessy or I swear I’ll kill you all

Zeus: easy mister ace …I don’t want that to happen no more than you do but if you are unwilling to help us ….im afraid I have to do it

At that moment I felt helpless ….i couldn’t think …my mind draw a blank …..is he telling the truth ….can this machine really transfer your mind into the internet ….will he really hurt jessy if I don’t help them and what do they want from UN servers ….all these questions were running trough my head …when zeus smiled and said:

Zeus: I know this must be too much on you and im sorry we dragged you in to this ….bu you know the right thing to do here ….help us and I give my word …you’ll be out of here with your pretty girlfriend in no time (creepy smile)

I didn’t know if I can trust him but I had no choice …I cant let them hurt jessy because of me …that’s not that man my father raised me to be ….so I looked back at all of them and I said:

Ace: Fine ….i’ll do it ….just leave her alone or else (serious look)

At that moment G smiled and said:

G: finally ….my machine will see the light of the day

Zeus: great ….M please help our guest get ready for the mission and please be gentle ….i really like him

And so the preparations started….i was finally out of that dirty chair but that didn’t last long ….i found myself tied up again in this weird machine they call it the S.S.S…..it felt weird being tied up to it ….but I shake off that feeling and focused looking at G while he was pushing buttons everywhere ….later he looked at me smiled and said:

G: you’re ready to change the world Kid

Ace: just do it (sad look)

G: okay here we go ……cyber transfer in 10 seconds ……9…..8…..7……6…..OH I forget your mind may try to play tricks on you since your body wont be there to resist so just keep telling yourself …this is not real …its not real and you’ll be fine….also don’t die there….that wont do too good for you here in the real world okay ??

Ace: what????why didn’t you tell me this from before ….wait

But G didn’t listen and kept counting down with a creepy smile on his face while I kept yelling telling him to hold on:

G: 5……4 …..3……2……1…….Begin NOW (smile)

Ace: Noooooooooooooooooo…..wait (scared look)

Chapter 7 : the deception of Ace

Sometimes in life you start in a simple place living a simple life …….then things got a little complicated but you ignore that fact and you keep on with your routine but some stuff can’t be ignore and before you know it you find yourself in a very dark place with no knowledge of how in the hell did you get here …..and I guess this was the case for me  too ….the last words I heard were a creepy weird scientist laugh and excitement while he was sending me off in to the unknown

Seconds later I opened my eyes to find myself in one hell of a place and started wondering around and before I make it far I heard a loud voice coming from the distance:

Voice: hey kid …can you hear me ….kid !!

Ace: who the hell is there ??

Voice: oh thank God …. it worked you’re actually there ….its me G…im talking to you over the mic here in the real world

Ace: how is that possible ???

G: never mind that ….im here to help get to your objectif …but first you need to tell me what do you see ??

Ace: uh ….i don’t know ….it seems im in some sort of a city

G: great your mind has translated all the digital data and visualized you a city ….you must know this city somehow …can you remember what it is ??

Ace: Im not sure …it feels familiar but its not my city or Paris but it has some French feeling to it

G: maybe its another French city you visited

Ace: I don’t think so …my dad only took to paris once and that it ….wait hold on ….i know that garden

G: yes ….kid….what do you see ??

Ace: I remember this place …this is ‘’Algeirs’’ ….the capital city of Algeria

G: Algeria ??? how is that possible ??

Ace: I been here when I was young with my dad …we came to visit his parents and we stayed here for a night before we left to dad’s hometown

G: okay ….im going to bring up the map of algeirs and guide you trough …hold on

Ace: hey wait ….there is people walking around …they have an odd look in their eyes and they don’t seem to notice me …what the hell is this ??

G: stay away from them kid …I repeat stay the hell away from them

Ace: why ?? what’s wrong …who are they ??

G: thoes are websites ….different websites from all over the world ….you touching someone could sent you inside and directly to that web site and god knows what’s in there and how to got out ….so avoid making contacts if it’s possible

Ace: okay ….man this is creepy …so what now ??

G: now tell me ….is there anything a bit off or special in the world you see

Ace: what are you talking about ??

G: the UN servers use a big amount of data and power when you compare it to other servers …so your brain should separate it somehow from other websites and servers…so do you see anything strange

Ace: I don’t know …all I see is people walking around in circles…hey there is even cute girls here ….what does that mean ?

G: never mind that look kid…you need to get to a higher ground ….try heading to this street that’s called ‘’ biar’’ …I did I say that right

Ace: okay …I’ll try ….here we go …man this place is amazing

And so I kept walking up the streets …everything seemed so real in here …the buildings …the people …even the birds and animals …I could swear I was actually here …but I held down my exitement and kept going up to this ‘’Biar’’ street

Minutes later I reached a high place right at the entrance of that street and said: ‘’im here G I found a high place now what’’

G: splendid ….now look around …anything out of the ordinary ??

Ace: oh ….i don’t know …it doesn’t seem like it …just bunsh of tall buildings……oh wait …what’s that ??

G: what is it kid …what do you see ??

Ace: I don’t know it seems a building is glowing or some sort

G: bingo …that’s our target ….what kind of building is it ?

Ace: that’s the weird part …it doesn’t seem like a normal one ….oh I remember it …how can I be this stupid …it’s the famous Algeria monument …the one my dad called ‘’ makam chahid’’ I think that’s how you say it

G: okay great …head toward there …that must the UN servers …I’ll do some research on this monument

Ace: and then what ??

G: just go there ….i’ll tell you later

And so I had no choice but to do what they say ….i started walking up toward this monument …somehow I remembered how far is it but I actually got there in no time ….it seemed quiet odd but then I remembered that this not real ….it can’t be right ????

And so minutes later I arrived at it ….it was so tall and glowing green or something ….i stopped and said:

Ace: im here …so what now ??

G: okay great ….now we need to find a way inside …look for a door or something

Ace: I don’t think monuments have doors

G: just do it …remember this is not real ….its all digital ..got it

And so I started looking around for an entrance but couldn’t find anything ….when I lost hope and was about to ask G what to do …I somehow leaned into something that created a big white flash:

Ace: what the hell ???

G: what’s going kid ….answer me …;what do you see ??

Ace: I don’t know …I must done something ….the monument is glowing ever more

G: let me check out what happened ?? hold on ..dont do anything stupid

And while G was trying to figure it out …all the sudden and from no where a secret door in the monument opened and a strange looking person came out ….he came closer and closer and smiled to me and said:

Person: you finally came Ace ….i been waiting for you my son

Ace: who the hell are you ??

Seconds later that person stepped in the light and said:

Person: don’t tell me you forget the face of the person who raised you

At that moment I couldn’t move …I was shocked how is this possible …..but it can’t be ….you’re not here …its not real …it can’t be freaking real….seconds later I swallowed up my spit and said:

Ace: Mooooooooooooom (shocked look)

Mom: yes my boy ….im right here (smile)

Ace: but how is that possible ….the virus …..5 years a go …you …you ….you were dead (shocked look)

Mom: im always by your side son …and im sorry if I ever made you feel all alone

Ace: mom !!! (tears coming down from his eyes)

Mom: its okay son ….now come and hug your mother

I couldn’t believe it …it was her…..my own mother…I cant believe I got to see her again ….she is so beautiful …just like I remember her….and as I was going to her open arms with that heart warming smile of hesr …a loud voice hit the place;

Voice: ace ….ace ….stay away from her

Ace: this voice …is that you zeus ??

Zeus: yeah ….G is running some analyze …it seems you activated the security system somehow….that women is not real …stay the hell away from her

Ace: but its mom …its her….i swear ….its her zeus …man ..i missed her so much

Zeus: its not her ace….remember this is not real …that’s not your mom ….your mom is dead …you said that yourself …don’t go to her …the security system will delete your trace ….and thus killing you in real world too ….don’t do it

Ace: but ….BUT …..but it’s her (sad look)

And while I was at shock standing there….my mom smiled at me and said:

Mom: im sorry I been such a bad mother …leaving you all alone thoes years ……forgive me my son and im here to make it up to you …..You will never be alone again

At that moment at the sound of thoes words …I remember something that happened 5 years a go ….i couldn’t help but re live that day once again …..it was ‘’hell year’’ ….i was a young boy….my mom just got  really sick with high fever …we were all alone if our appartement but we both knew what’s was going to happen ….so while she was in her bed barely able to open her eyes…she looked at me …and whipped away my tears and said:

Mom: don’t worry about me my boy …I’ll be just fine …but you have to be (cough) brave fo….for me ….you ….you have to keep living (cough) ……and never look back ….and remember that I didn’t leave you alone ….(cough) …I talked to an old friend of mine ….he will take care of you …please trust him …give him your love ….treat him like your own father …and son …….i will never leave you alone .

Thoes were the last words of my mom …she said she will never leave me alone and she didn’t …the very next day …alex came and Took me to paris …hoping by that …I’ll be distracted enough not to cry ….i still remember that day

And so as I heard what the women at the monument said I realized …she is not my mother …she cant be …she may look like her….but my mom will never say thoes words ….it was none but a cheap security program ….I looked at it and said:

Ace: nice try ….But you’re not my mom ..now step the hell away …I have something to do

And just like that the image of mom just faded away and I managed to get inside the monument .

G: ace ….ace ….im back ….im glad you managed to bypass that security system …im sure it really played with your mind but you’re in …great job

Ace: yeah yeah what ever ….what should I do now ??

G: first tell me what do you see

Ace: it’s some sort of a library or something ….books everywhere

At that moment a different voice echoed saying:

Voice: bingo mister ace …that’s what we looking for ?

Ace: zeus ?? what do you mean by that ??

Zeus: you’re in the database of the UN …now we need you to find a file

Ace: what all of this for some sort of a file ??

Zeus: yeah …you have no idea …the kind of information that find held my boy …just look for it …it should be under the name …’’file 43’’

Ace: 43 ??? okay fine …I’ll do it …but after this ..im done …I want you to leave me and jessy alone

Zeus: yeah yeah ….you have my word ‘’stoodman’’ !

And so I started looking  around …this place is amazing …million of books everywhere ….and they were filled with numbers that goes from 1 to maybe even a million …the fact that the ‘’sons of liberty’’ only need just one file is quiet scary to be honest …but never the less I had a job to do ..i started going up the ranks …until I found it …file number 43…so I grabed it and started heading outside

Ace: im out …so what now …how should I get the file to you in the real world …and how can I come back

G: okay great …don’t worry …will bring you and the file back in a click of button …just stay there and don’t move …I’ll start the data transfer

And so I stood there and waited …but I couldn’t help but to stare at this place …it was amazing …if it weren’t for the glowing monument I would never think this is fake

Seconds later G said:

G: okay data transfer begin NOW…..5 percent ….10 percent …25 percent ….we’re almost done kid

And as the transfer reached 49 percent …all the sudden a loud voice hit the place:

Ace: what the hell is going on ??

Zeus: damn it ….they found us

Ace: what the hell is going on there in the  real world?

Zeus: what the hell G ?? I TOUGH YOU SAID THIS PLACE IS SECURED

G: it is ….i don’t know how they located us

M: no time for chit chat …boys …let’s leave before they catch us …come on boss

Zeus: you’re right M ….take what we need and head for the emergency exit

G: but wait boss ….the transfer is not done

Zeus: we don’t have time ….take what we downloaded and go

G: but what about the kid …if I stop the data transfer ..he will stay stuck there

Zeus: im sorry Ace ….but it seems we will have to leave you there

Ace: what ?? you pig …you promised …you gave me your world

Zeus:never take the word of a criminal ….didn’t they teach you that in your fancy school kido

Ace: you will pay for this ….i swear …you will all pay for this

Zeus: good luck with that …zeus out

And so zeus and his pals took what they could and escaped the building leaving me there …trapped in a digital world

Ace: no what?? There must be out of this place

And out of no where I heard a weird loud voice saying:

Voice: operation aborted ….prepare for data destruction …warning ….any individuals present in the digital world will be deleted ….warning ….please evacuate any personals from the area ……warning data destruction in 10….9…8…7…6…5

I couldn’t believe it ….thoes pigs …they must activates some sort of a self destruct sequence or something ….damn …im going to get deleted with this freaking world….things cant end this way ….it just cant …..there must be a way out…my story cant end this way ….can it ??

4…..3….2….1…..COMENCE DATA DESTRUCTION …..

Ace: Nooooooooooooooooooo( shocked look) 

 

 

 

 

 

Chapter 08 : a dark secret revealed

All the sudden the world around me started fading ….and a white light hit the area …..Blinding me and wiping every trace of my existence  .

But I couldn’t help in my last moments  but remember a very precious memory of mine that happened last year ….it was a rainy day in my town …and we were sitting in our classroom …waiting for our next class …I had mixed feeling about the rain ….it always reminded me of that horrible day I lost my mom but it also remind of that amazing trip I took to paris with alex …..and so as I was staring at my classroom’s window watching the rain …I suddenly started hearing sounds of laughter and yelling behind me …I looked back to see all my classmates in a big circle …laughing and talking ….i was curious so I came closer to hear:

One of the girls: okay guys …the game is simple …we spin the water bottle  2 times and where ever it stops …thoes 2 people has to act like married couple for the rest of the day …got it you slowed brain people ??

One of the guys: I hope mine land on a girl ….please God don’t let be  a guy ….pleaaaase

One of the girls: okay ready ….here we go

And so the girl started spinning the bottle until it landed to another girl ….everyone smiled and said:

One of the guys: ooooooooh…..it landed on little miss ‘’payland’’….let’s see who will be your husband for the day jessy

Jessy: hhhhh I cant wait …spin it (smile)

And the bottle was spinning again ….going around and around ….it felt like it never would stop …which reminded of that movie ‘’inception’’ …man that was a great movie …I should watch it again …..and I as I was lost thinking about ‘’inception’’ …a loud voice brought me back to reality:

Voice: hey stoodman ….stoodman ….hey

Ace: yeah …what is it ??

Voice: are you deaf …..i said …you’re the husband

Ace: what??

One of the girls: the bottle stopped at you …so you’ll be mister ‘’payland’’ for the day

One of the guys: hhhh why does he have to take her last name ?

One of the guys: duh because she has more money than he has …obviously  (smile)

One of the guys: oh poor jessy …she is stuck with a poor person …I say give her another spin …its only fair

At that moment as they were all laughing between eachother….jessy all the sudden stood up and said:

Jessy: NO…..i don’t want another spin ….come her you …you’re going to be my husband for the day….so at least come have some coffee with me in the cafeteria

Everyone there were shocked and to be honest I was too …but I had no choice …I followed this blond girl and started walking with her ….it was an awkward silence …until she smiled and said:

Jessy: im sorry about my friends back there …they can be real jerks sometimes ….  …my name is ‘’jessica payland’’ by the way  but you can call me jessy

Ace: uh ….im ace  Stoodman (shy look)

Jessy: that’s a cool name …so what do you think ace…would we work out as man and wife …or we should just ask for divorce

Ace: uh ……..UH…..uh

Jessy: im just kidding ….hhh….the look at your face …come with me …I have a feeling we will be very good friends

And that’s the story of how I met jessy …ever since then …she always been at my side …when our classmates make fun of me or when im about to do something stupid …she was there ….she is really the  definition of a true friend ….and of course with time I started having feelings toward her too ….but look at me now ….the first time she actually needed my help …here I am stuck in here …where she is probably in great danger back in the real world….but I just couldn’t do a thing but wait to be wiped from the face of the earth…..by some stupid machine .

It felt like the end ….and no my life didn’t flash before my eyes …I can’t believe people still think that crap is real …no when your reach the end …you only see the people you truly cared about …every memory …every moment you spend with them …it all comes back at once…..i can hear their voices inside my head ….i could hear jessy voice yelling : ‘’wake up ace ….wake up ….oh God he is not waking up’’…..and I even heard alex’s deep voice saying ‘’ Son …Son …are you allright’’

Seconds later I felt a sharp pain in my face …and from no where I opened my eyes to find myself tied up in a machine and surrounded with people :

Ace: where the hell I am ??

And all the sudden a girl pushed the others and came to me and said:

Girl: oh thank god …you’re alive …Im so sorry I slapped you in the cheek …you just weren’t waking up

Ace: what ?? jessy …but how is that possible …how did you get here

And out of no where a man in a dark suit approach and said:

Guy: I think I can explain that my boy (smile)

Ace:  …..Daaaaaaaaaaaad

Alex: it’s good to see you again ace ..you had us worry there for a second

Ace: what the hell happened …how did I get back here ??

Alex: oh …don’t worry ….everything will be explained now …but not by me …I think its better if she explains it

Ace: she ????

Alex: please agent …..come here …we need you to do your job

And all the sudden ….a red hair girl wearing military clothes appared and said:

Girl: so this is him alex ….this is the kid you keep talking about

Alex: yep this my favorite art student in the world …ace I want  you to meet agent Naz …chief in command of the first unit in the DRS

Ace: naz ??? it cant be the same agent from your stories dad …is she ??

Alex: exactly my boy ….you still remember my stories …that’s pretty impressive …but yes …she is the same girl

Ace: I don’t understand …what is she doing here …and how are you involved in all of this dad (confused look)

Suddenly this naz girl came closer ..and started staring at me and said:

Naz: I’ll explain everything kid ….you see after the job we did in Paris with your father 10 years a go ….that im sure he told you about ….i finally convinced him to join the ‘’DRS’’ but he insisted that he wouldn’t leave your side …so I gave him mainly local jobs in your town ….but 5 years a go … a new development in an old case raised and I had to bring your father with me …he was the only man for the job

Ace: wait ….is that why you left 5 years a go dad ??

Alex: kind of ….but its more complicated than that…it’s all started one day when ……

Naz: we don’t have time for that story sinary….lets just stick to basics ….anyway kid ….couple weeks a go …we heard that the ‘’sons of liberty’’ are back here in france …so we tried locating them down ….but we arrived at nothing …it was hopeless ….well until your arrived

Ace: me ??

Naz: yeah the day of your ‘’little white light incident’’ …we intercepted a call made to one of the ‘’sons of liberty’’ associate …informing them about you and your little power

Ace: what  ??

Naz: it seems that the S.O.B(sons of liberty) were interested in that little power of yours …and so we had no choice but to use you as bait to lure them out….we placed a tracking device on you and watched every move you did

Ace: what ??? how dare you ….did you know about this dad ?

Naz: (laughing) who do you think planed the tracking device kid

Ace: (shocked look) that day…in that crappy car ..impossible

Alex: im sorry Ace …but you were our only hope …I didn’t want to do it …but it was either that or loose the SOB trail for ever …

Ace: so you putted me and jessy in danger just so you catch some nerds with guns

Alex: im really sorry ace but our sources told us that they were going to blow a ‘’nuke’’ somewhere in the US  

Ace: a nuke ?? you’re kidding ?? but that doesn’t seem right

Alex: we tough so too …the SOB never were they type that kills people for no reason but that’s what our sources say …anyway we had to use you but I promise you I was watching you trough a sniper scope all the way…and even when they kidnapped you ..we were right behind you ….but somehow thanks to a crappy driver they managed to loose us …..we tried tracking you down but the tracking device wasn’t working anymore….so I called an old friend of mine …I think you remember him  …mister  ‘’Jack russels’’ or ‘’JR’’ if you like

Ace: JR ??? is he the same one from your stories ??

Alex: indeed he is …best hacker I ever met …he agreed to help us …and it took him some time but we were able to track you down at the end…..thankfully we arrived at the last second ….and stopped the self destruct sequence and got you out of that place

Ace: what about the SOB ….did you catch them  ??

Alex: no …we missed them by a second

At that moment naz pushed alex a side and said:

Naz: I think you mean you let them escape sinary …you were the first one here ….but you chose to save a civilian instead of doing your job

Alex: he is my son …..im a father before im an agent naz ….if you don’t like it ….you can fire me right now (angry look)

Naz: sinary (shocked look)

Ace: wait ….the SOB they wanted a file …file 43 or something….they made me hack into the UN servers for it

Naz: yeah we saw that but it seems they only managed to get 51 percent of the data …..the rest is still here in the system …I’ll have ‘’JR’’ take a look at it ….it must be the key to their plan

And as naz was walking away she turned her head around and said:

Naz: good job kid (serious look)

After that she was gone ….seconds later …jessy and alex started helping  me get out of that creepy machile …then we all went out of that building and into the outside …I started looking around …I was finally back to the real world …I never tough I’ll be happy to see my town again ….seconds later someone pet me in the shoulder and said:

Person: have a coke ace ….you look like you need it

Ace: thanks jessy ….and jessy ??

Jessy: yeah ace

Ace: im sorry about everything …its my fault you got dragged in to this (sad look)

Jessy: well you do own me a nice dinner after this …but it’s cool …your ….emmm….DAD explained everything to me ….i know its  not your fault …you’re just one unlucky guy

Ace: you can say that again (smile)

Jessy: (smile)

Suddenly a man wrapping his arms around his body apparead and said:

Man: wow this city is sure cold ace…..what are you love birds talking about ??

Ace: Daaaaaaaaaaaaad (angry look)

Alex: sorry sorry …im just kidding

Jessy: it was really nice meeting you mister sinary …I can see where ace got his charm

Alex: well thank you young lady …but im not really alex biological father …im just a useless guy who raised him …but he turned out just fine am i right ?

Jessy: he sure did (smile)

Ace: (blushing): ehhem hem ……anyway dad …..what are you going to do now ….the SOB run away and we have 51 percent of that file messing

Alex: well ‘’JR’’ is trying to crack open of what we have of that file and hopefully we’ll get something usefull from that

Ace: okay but do you think the SOB are after …they seemed really interested in that file …..their boss even said it was the way for a new future

Alex: im not sure ….but what ever it is …our orders is to stop them ……if our intel are right and they blew a nuke in the US soil ….that will be the beginning of a new world war 3 …and we can’t have that

Jessy: (scared look)

And while the three of us were standing there in silence …a red hair girl approached and said:

Girl : time to move out sinary …I just received a call from ‘’jack’’

Alex: what is it naz ?? what did he found out ??

Naz: it seems ‘’file 43’’ has all the password codes for some building  in the USA

Alex: what kind of ‘’building ‘’ is it ??

Naz: we don’t know ..it’s some place in’’area 43’’

Alex: area 43 ?? but that city is a ghost town

yep you may be wondering about ‘’area 43’’..yeah its used be called ‘’boston’’  …a normal American city …before the events of ‘’hell year’’ …it was really a pretty cool place to live …but when the TPS virus broke out …that city had the worst casualties …nearly 80 percent of people there got infected ….the US government has no choice but to eliminate them all in fear it will spread …the US army says that he only terminated ‘’all ready sick people’’ and that no healthy people were killed but other reports suggest otherwise …anyway whatever really happened back then  … it was a massacre …. And after the event of ‘’hell year’’ nobody dared going back to boston …and now its called ‘’area 43’’….a total ghost town.

Naz: that’s what ‘’JR’’said …we preparing to fly there at early as possible….so get ready sinary !!

At that moment alex looked at me and said:

Alex: I have to leave again son …please try and stay out of troubles while im away …I’ll have one of men ..watch out over you

Ace: but dad …I wanna come with you …this is my mess too ..if it weren’t for me …they wouldn’t got thoes password codes

Alex: absolutely not …this a dangerous mission …look I promised your mother I’ll keep you safe …im im already fighting the guilt of agreeing on using you as  a bait earlier …so there is no way you’re coming with us

Ace: but alex …..come on (sad look)

At that moment naz stopped walking and said:

Naz: let the kid come  ….we may need them sinary…you know that

Alex: the hell with it naz …I didn’t agree on that ….he is just a little boy

Naz: he is old enough …plus alex (looking around) …it’s about time he learned the truth

Alex: (shocked look)

Ace: (confused look) …what truth ??

Naz: prepare yourself kid …we’re living in 1 hour (serious look)

Ace: what is she talking about da ….what truth …alex !!!

Alex: ( silence)

Ace: answer me …Daaaaad ….what is she talking about (shocked look)

Chapter 09 : curiosity killed the cat

Curiosity …a well known quality…not only in humans ..but in animals too….but the question remain is it a good quality or not ….looking at the history books you’ll find that it was the cause for many amazing invention from the discovery of fire until the latest medical discoveries …curiosity is what motivate us to know more and try new things ….but if you look at the dark side of science …you find all sort of mistakes and unfortunate events that were caused by a human been not minding his own business …..I never really had an opinion about this  quality…but im sure going to have one very much soon .

So here I was in a moving private plane …sitting across my father …the person that seems to know something very important…  yet he is not telling me but never the less …I was determined to find out… one way or another …and as I was going to open my mouth …the door suddenly slammed open and a girl walked in saying:

Girl: okay people will get there in a few hours …I think its best you all rest your eyes until we get there …but before I’ll like for everyone here to introduce yourself ..you will all be working together and “trust’’ is important in my unit …who will start first…how about you jack ?

Jack: okay boss ….hello everyone my name is ‘’jack russels’’ …you can call me ‘’ JR’’ if you like ….im sure some of you may know from ‘’the internet shutdown of 2018’’ …. Yep …im the first hacker ever that was able to control the whole internet for a day …no need to applause please ….anyway a few weeks after I done that ….i get caught by the ‘’DRS’’…bummer I know … and instead of going to jail which is lame …I was recruited in to this beautiful girl unit

Naz: thank you jack ….we also have Alexander sinary with us ..but I don’t think anyone needs an introduction to know him … other than that we got the ‘’delta squad’’ …our backup in case something goes bad …and last but very much the least…mister Ace stoodman ..he is here because he can bypass scanners …so we may need him inside that building

 Hahaha very funny miss naz …who does she think she is …im as important as any of these guys …I guess I just have to prove myself then.

And before I can finish my line of toughts a beautiful girl walked in and said:

Girl: what about me naz …don’t I deserve an introduction?

Naz: you’re not an agent …we’re just using your plane to get to boston

Girl: oh I see ..so this is how you’re going to play it ..after all I did to convince my uncle to Lend us his private jet …I don’t even get a stupid introduction .

Naz: Okay…fine …just don’t give me that look of yours …guys this is ‘’carmine’’ …a good friend of mine ..i met her years a go thanks to her idiotic husband ..where is he by the way ?

Carmine: who ?? Fouzi ?? I left him with the baby…can you believe he wanted to come with you guys …I swear. ..that man was born to get in trouble ..sometimes I wonder why I married him in the first place .

Naz: I say divorce his sorry butt and come work with us …but anyway back to the point …guys this is carmine and yes she is married …so no asking for her number ..especially you jack …hide that phone !!

Jack: jeez naz ..i was just checking the time (wink at carmine)

Naz: whatever …okay guys …that’s all for now ..rest up ..this going to be a tough job.

And so I had no choice but to try and rest my eyes … it felt like minutes passed but I opened my eyes to find everyone getting out of the plane …alex looked at my way and said:

Alex: hey ace …I been thinking …I think it’s best to stay here with carmine until we finish the job ….things can get very dangerous outside

Ace: no freaking way dad …this whole thing is partially my fault …I got that file to the SOB ….i have to come with you guys ….its the only way I’ll deal with this guilt

Alex: ace (sad look)

At that moment naz yelled from outside the plan and said:

Naz: sinary …get your a*s out of there …and get the kid too

And so alex had no choice he grabbed me from the arm as we got off the plane …seconds later …carmine looked at us and said:

Carmine : good luck guys ......and naz I’ll be sure to say hi to ‘’team 13” on your behalf

Naz: thanks for everything carmine …okay guys move your lazy butts …we don’t have much time until nightfall

And so we started walking trough ‘’area 43’’ …oh man …the city was scary as hell  .. burden building ..torn a part cars …blood stains everywhere …it was really a ghost town in every definition of that word ….but we had no choice but to keep moving .

Minutes later naz stopped and said:

Naz: it seems we’re here …the GPS indicator …shows that the targeted building is just around the corner …okay everyone be ready …we could run into hostiles …so you keep your eyes sharp at all times.

And  so everyone got their guns and started walking really slowly covering every direction until we reached the building …but nobody had an idea  what we were about to see :

JR: boss …is that what I think it is ??

Naz: it seems so …but how is that possible ??

Alex: I tough the only UN headquarters is in New York city…what is it doing here….in Boston ??

Naz: I don’t know …never in my reports that I saw  that their headquarters used to be in boston …I don’t like it …everyone stay sharp….this could be a trap .

And so we kept moving toward the entrance ..just to find a big door with a key pad at the side …naz looked at it and said:

Naz: okay jack …do your thing !!

JR: roger that boss (serious look)

And so JR came closer and brought up a small laptop and started pushing button and plugging wires …i never been a computer person but that was so freaking cool …I can’t deny that …seconds later …JR stood up and said:

JR: this doesn’t make sense boss

Naz: what is it jack …you couldn’t get it open ??

JR: no I did … but that’s the weird part …my data shows that this whole area didn’t have any power in years but the building is totally active …they must have some sort of a generator inside….. that powers the whole facility

Alex: then that means the sons of liberty are already inside

Naz: sinary is probably  right …they’re  maybe inside ..and there is a big chance they have a nuke there too …so don’t open fire unless they do ..got it ?

And so we walked inside …. and the guys started  searching every room …it was the first time I saw my father in action and I got to admit that was pretty cool …it was like seeing his past stories comes to life….seconds later everyone started yelling:

Alex: main office ….CLEAR !!!

Naz:  front desk …..CLEAR !!!

JR: bathrooms …stinky but ….CLEAR !!!

And so every room was searched expect for one …the conference room ..we took cover besides it when naz said:

Naz: okay guys this is it …follow the protocol and cover eachothers and kid ..you stay right here okay ….ready …on my mark ….1….2…3…GO

And so naz slammed the door open and everyone walked in with their guns in the air yelling:

Everyone: DRS ….freeze or will shoot

But no gun shots were fired …it was a total silence so I decided to take a look and man how I wish I didn’t …everyone were staring at the scene with shocking looks all over their faces when alex said:

Alex: what the hell happened here ??

Naz: calm down everyone …this doesn’t change the mission ..the sons of liberty maybe be killed  but the nuke is still out there ..we need to find it 

JR: are you crazy boss …look at them …these guys weren’t killed …they were butchered ….everyone one of them has been shot at least 15 times …who ever did this …really wanted them dead….i say we get the hell out of here …call for delta squad and let them clean this sh!t .

Naz: wait jack …hold on (serious look)

And as JR reach his hand and opened the door … a hell storm of bullets  torn apart the everything in the way along with Jack’s poor body …seconds later jack fell down dead  revealing a group of masked men in front of him ….everyone was at shock ..when naz took her gun and yelled: ‘’ you b******s …I’ll kill you for what you did ’’ ….and started storming outside shooting back at them …. Alex looked at her and  said:

Alex: wait naz …don’t do it (shocked look)

But naz kept going …sadly she didn’t get far …it was a matter of time before a bullet came and took her down .

I couldn’t process all of that …my brain froze along with my body ….  I couldn’t help but watch all of my teammates fall down to their demise.

Seconds later a loud voice grabbed my attention …it was my father yelling : ‘’ace …ace …get down ‘’….and as I looked before me …I could see the masked man aiming  at me …but I couldn’t move …it’s was like my legs just stopped working ..i couldn’t help but close my eyes and wait for my end.

And so seconds later I heard the shot …here goes nothing …but I didn’t feel a thing …I started checking myself but I was fine …what the hell happened …did they miss me …and at that moment I looked down to see alex on the floor bleeding from his left arm …..i was shocked …what the hell happened …did he take the bullet for me …oh god …he did …he saved my life ….i couldn’t help but start crying while holding alex in my arms:

Ace: dad ….can your hear me ….dad ……WAKE UP

Alex: oh hey son ….why are you crying (coughing blood)

Ace: im sorry dad ..its my fault …please get up ..come on ..you ..you promised me …you promised me that everything will fine …remember ??

Alex: I do …s…son ….everything will be all….righ………..

And before he can finish thoes words …alex felt down cold …I couldn’t believe …I must be dreaming right  ?? …this can’t be true …it’s just a nightmare….it’s just a nightmare ….it’s just a freaking nightmare……………

And as I kept repeating that ..one of the masked men came close to me and said:

Masked man: the nightmare hasn’t started yet Kid !!!

And then he grabbed his rifle and smashed it right on my skull sending me down cold .

 

Final chapter : the P.U.R.E Truth Revealed

 

All the sudden I woke up …with my head hurting like hell …I was tied up once again but this time I was on my knees …I looked around ..i was in a very dark room ….i looked to my right to find a guy tied up next me ….i soon realized it was him …he is fine ….his wound was somehow bandaged …But he was out cold so I started calling him:

Ace: dad …wake up …dad …please …dad

Seconds later his eyes started moving and he opened his eyes:

Alex: ace ?? where are we ?? why are we tied up ??

Ace: oh thank allah …you’re okay ..dont worry dad ..i’ll get us our of here

But before I can try anything …suddenly the lights went on to see us surrounded by masked men pointing their guns at us from every direction  …seconds later an old guy appeared clapping his hand …he came closer and said:

Old guy: how sweet …I almost teard up …welcome to our humble home …sinary boys (creepy smile)

Alex: who the hell are you ??? and what do you want from us

Old guy: straight to the point alex …I like that in people …well I guess I should introduce myself …you’re my guests after all …my name is ‘’Hamada Grine”

Alex: I feel like I heard that name somewhere …but where …damn it I can’t remember

At that moment I looked at the old guy and said:

Ace: you’re the president of the UN …aren’t you ??

Hamada: Bingo …we have a winner …correct mister stoodamn …and by answering correctly …you got a free question …so ask away my boy

Ace: why did you kill our friends ?? (angry look)

Hamada …waw waw waaaaw …we didn’t kill anyone …You guys were the one that invaded our home ..we just defended it ..and plus the red hair girl is fine …she just got shot in the shoulder …but im afraid the nerdy guy …just had one too many bullets (creepy smile)

Alex: I’ll kill you…you hear me …I don’t care if you’re the UN president ….you’re a monster

Hamada: calm down mister sinary ….thoes not a nice words to use in front of your son …oh wait …he is not really your son is he … that’s makes me wonder …do you regret the  whole‘’ invisible man’’ project ??

Ace: what is he talking about dad ??

Hamada: oh ..you didn’t tell him …now that’s interesting ..shall  I do it for you … or do you want me to tell him the truth yourself ?

Alex: shut the hell up …he is my kid …he doesn’t need to know some old story of the past (angry look)

Ace: dad …it’s okay …I want to know …I need to know…please …tell me the truth

Alex: but son ….

Ace: please dad …I beg you (sad look)

Alex: okay fine ….but before I tell you …you must know that I really love you and I only wanted what best for you …you know that right ??

Ace: yeah dad …I do …I really do (sad look)

Alex: okay then I’ll tell you …look …uh ….couple years after your mom ‘’marissa’’ passed away from the ‘’ TPS virus’’ …one day you got really sick …with high fever and chills …I was sure it was just a cold ….but I decided to take you to my buddy ‘’ hossni’’ to be on the safe side….i waited and waited …then he came out and gave me the worst news of my life

Ace: what was it ??

Alex: you had the TPS virus …..you were going to die .

Ace: what ???(shocked look)

Alex: yeah …but luckily the cure was already out and we managed to save your life but that didn’t make me feel much better …because I knew that you’ll have to go the ‘’P.U.R.E”” program …life will never be the same to you …you will never have kids and you will never get marry and be happy…and that”s a father’s worst nightmare …so I couldn’t accept it …I started working day and night with my buddy ‘’hossni’’….and 3 months later we had it ‘’ The invisible man’’ invention … a small ‘’microbots’’ that allow you to be invisible against any scanner in the world …and we both agreed it was the best shot for you to live a normal life …so we injected it your body and it worked …you were out of the system …and I tough it was fine …until that damn scanner came to light

Ace: what do you mean …what  scanner ??

Alex: the Pure scanner 10000 …they added the white light feature …that shows if you got detected or not …we didn’t think about that when we built the ‘’microbots’’ ….and so in that very day …I knew that your life will be in danger

Ace: wait …so …I am infected with the bad gene …and if I didn’t get detected …I would probably transfer it to my kids and that will  back the TPS virus to life once again …and thus repeating the events of ‘’hell year’’ (shocked look)

Alex: I……im sorry son …I just wanted you to have a normal life …that it ….i didn’t mean for that to happen …i….i…Screwed up (tears coming from his eyes)

Ace: (silent)

Hamada: bravo …bravo …what a story mister sinary …a guy sacrificing the world so his son could be happy…wonderful story …but this get us to the real reason…I didn’t kill you so far….mister sinary ..we would love if you can tell us where that ‘’microbots’’ is …we already scanned the boy …its not in him anymore

Ace: what??? I don’t have it anymore ???

Alex: yeah I extracted it off you when you were unconscious at the S.S.S machine…I knew it could bring problem in the future ..so I took it off

Hamada: and where is it now mister sinary ??

Alex: I tossed in the sea …you’re more than welcome to search for it old guy

Hamada: spending …we should thank you sinary …you did our work for us .

Alex: huh ??

Hamada: we wanted that invention gone from the beginning ..if it spread all over the world ..that will ruin everything we worked for .

Alex: what are you talking about ??

Hamada: you don’t need to know that ..it seems we have no use for you anymore ….guards … please take care of them

And as the UN president where leaving ..alex stood up and said:

Alex: wait …..Wont you at least tell us your plan …and the whole truth..since we’re dead anyway

Hamada: oh mister sinary …that’s such a movie cliché …but I like movies ….so why the hell not….okay I’ll tell you boys …can any of you tell me what ‘’P.U.R.E” regulation  stands for huh ??

Alex: no I can’t say I do (confused look)

Hamada: okay ..no problem ..i’ll tell you …it simply stands for …the Public  United Rules of Elimination

Ace: elimination ?? but there is no elimination in that law ??

Hamada: that’s a good question my son…but before I can answer that can you tell me how the TPS virus first started ??

Ace: well…they said it  first started in east asia and it came from ‘’koalas’’ after  crossing ‘’the species barrier’’

Hamada: yep that’s what the reports said …and the whole world believed that Lie

Ace: what ??? a Lie ???

Hamada: yep …the TPS virus didn’t come from some cute koalas …no my boy …the TPS virus is 100 percent ‘’Men made

Ace: what ?? man made ….so all thoes millions of people dead ….my mom …everyone…. because of something someone created ??

Hamada: that’s the sad truth ….The TPS virus was a part of the ‘’US viral weapons strategy’’ …and  it was developed in a facility in east asia ….everything  was fine …until your friends ‘’the sons of liberty’’ showed up

Ace: the SOB ?? but how are they relevant ??

Hamada: they are very much relevant …you see my boy …one day the SOB decided to end the US influence in east asia …so they bombed that same facility …thus making the virus spread in to the environment …from there it was a matter of time before it reaches the whole world and cause millions of deaths……and at the end …wiping the human race from existence.

Ace: this can’t be possible ??

Hamada: but it is my boy ….and now we arrive to my point …you see my son …im no different than your father …I had a daughter of my own that I loved more than the world itself …and it the events of ‘’hell year’’ ..i did all I could to get her to safety and I managed that …she was safe ….but couple years later …she started having a sharp pain in her lower stomach …I took her to the best doctor in the world ….but it didn’t change a thing …..my daughter had a rare genetical syndrome called ‘’the connard syndrom’’ ….it was so rare that only 1 in 100 million get it every year …but that didn’t mean a thing to me…my daughter was going to die ….and few months later …she did …sending me in a hell storm of depression and self hatred ….I couldn’t work … eat …or even talk …I just stayed in my office drinking myself to death ….i blamed myself for her death …that damn disease came from me and my side of the family but it didn’t show his ugly head until my poot daughter got it …I literally  got her killed  ..i killed my own daughter .

Ace: you cant blame yourself for that … there is nothing you could have done about it ….it was fate …you can’t change that

Hamada: oh but I can mister ace …you see couple months after …doctor ‘’richards’’ visited me …and said that after all his research …he is one 100 percent sure …the TPS virus is not ‘’genetically transferable’’ …..and there is no chance it’s coming back again

Ace: what ????? but the international health association declared otherwise …it was the only reason the P.U.R.E program was ever created  

Hamada; now you’re getting it …after Richards said that …I got the best idea in the world …I locked him somewhere in east Europe and faked his reports …making the world believe that the TPS virus can come back trough genes …and thus …creating the P.U.R.E program ….and the whole world fell for it.

Ace: what the hell ?? but …but I don’t get it …why ..why did you do that ??

Hamada: to save the world kid …to save it from itself …I got a team of the best of the world and together we created the P.U.R.E scanners ….and told everyone it detected the bad TPS gene ….but that’s not true …that gene doesn’t exist…what our device do …is simply detect people with bad genes …genes that could bring diseases to their kids ….mutated genes if you like …and then enter them in to ‘’the P.U.R.E program ‘’ ….and thus stopping them from spreading their DNA in any way possible …and so that hidden disease will have no chance but to die with its owner ….our kids won’t have to suffer because of us and our crappy genes …and so generations will pass …until one day …all bad genes are gone and we have a perfect world with only healthy people able to procreate …think about that son …What im doing here is basically …saving our children from us .

Ace: what ?? you’re crazy …you can’t do that ….you can’t play the Role of ‘’God’’ …you don’t get to decided who have kids and who doesn’t

Hamada: oh but I do mister stoodamn …I do ….and some day the world will thank me ……(laughing) ….what’s wrong mister sinary …you didn’t speak for a while …don’t you have anything to say ??

Alex: actually I do …first hearing your story ..i tough you’re just a sad man blaming the world for what happened to him …hell I related to that …but hearing how you created a whole lie and tricked the world …so you can eliminate all people that don’t have perfect genes ….Here I think you’re none but a moron with power …you’re no different than the doctor

Alex: how do you think we got crappy genes in the first place …our first father ‘’adam’’ didn’t have any of these diseases …all this problems and diseases only started recently …most likely they happened from external factors…polluted air ..polluted water …polluted earth ….and  hell even the sun caused us diseases …..And so your plan may work at the beginning …only healthy people will be left ….but the cycle will start all over again …thoes healthy people will get bad genes again …and people will start going to your program day after day …until no healthy people as you call them will be left …everyone will be a ‘’PURE’’ …and then what do you think will happen mister Grine ??

Ace: the end of mankind…right dad  (scared look)

Alex: exactly son …it will be the end of us all

At this moment the UN president couldn’t believe it …his master plan ….his way to save the world ..had such a major flaw in it ….his mind couldn’t process that …he started going back and forward with shaky finger …until he looked us and said:

Hamada: you two are worng …you’re liying …this can be true …it just cant ….you’re trying to ruin my plans ..you talked enough …(looking at the masked men) ….men ..kill them

And so the masked men started reloading the guns …ready to shoot us with a storm of bullets and as the UN president gave the world…. a big explosion blowed the door opened …and men in uniform walked in …shooting everywhere …the masked men had no chance ….in a matter of seconds they all fell down dead .

The UN president dropped his gun and started yelling:

Hamada: please help me …please …my name is hamada grine …. Im the UN president …thoes men kidnapped me…please help

And so seconds later a man in a dark suit walked in and head straight to the UN president and said:

Guy: don’t worry sir ….my name is ‘’Moussa’’ ….im the command in chief of the’’ PSD’’

Hamada: oh thank god …the PSD…please get me out of here

Moussa: gladelly sir

And so moussa came behind him and placed cuffs on his hands:

Hamada: what the hell are you doing ??

Moussa: mister Hamada grine …you’re under arrest for mass murder …fraud …kidnapping and many many other crimes

Hamada: what ??? im your boss ..what are you doing …I created your division …you can’t do that ….STOP

And so moussa strated dragging the president out …after he looked at alex and gave him a little wink …I looked at my father after and said:

Ace: what the hell just happened ?? how are we save ??

Alex: it’s thanks to you my son (smile)

Ace: what ?? what do you mean ??

Ace: did you forget about the tracking device …it’s still attached to your clothes ….its the latest ‘’JR’’ invention ….poor jack …..his tracking device can be detected anywhere in the world …that how we found you when the SOB got you ……and this is the best part  …that tracking device has a listening device in it too

Ace: what ??? so they heard everything (smile)

Alex: exactly …I only needed to stall until they come here and  save us and ….boy how im glad it had a listening  device …I don’t think anyone would believe us ..if it didn’t … mister Hamada will probably got free and will be in jail for kidnapping or worse .

Ace: wow ….that’s some great luck dad !!

Alex: yep my boy its seem our luck finally changed to the best

Ace: not really dad….moussa and his men left …who in the hell will untie us

Alex: what ??? damn you mousa…I know you did it on purpose …man I really need to go the bathroom ….moooooooooooousa …you B*****d !!!

(yelling)

 

Epilogue : what happened next

The day finally was over and we left ‘’area 43’’ going back home thanks to the US …that was kind enough to give us a ride home after saving the world from extinction …damn it ..they didn’t even get us in first class ….cheap a*s government

Anyway ..Few days later …the whole ‘’P.U.R.E’’ lie was in the open …causing the biggest shock the world ever seen ….it was a mix of emotions from anger …shock and happiness …and so the ‘’P.U.R.E’’ program was officially over and everyone got their freedom back …the world was back to how it was …filled with pain …diseases and suffering ….but despite all of that …it was the way it should be ….our world may not be perfect …but as long as our hearts are ‘’ P.U.R.E’’ ….we can do our best to change it someday.

Agent naz …was rushed to the hospital ….she had a minor bullet wound ..she may not be able to punch people for a while but she will be just fine…I wish I could say the same thing about ‘’JR’’….poor guy….may his soul rest in peace …he was a HERO and he will be remembered as one… forever .

Hamada grine was found ‘’guilty’’ for all his crimes and was sentenced to ‘’ prison for life’’ with no parol …he had no comment to the press yet he kept repeating his famous 4  words ‘’ I saved the world’’

As for me and alex …we finally took that trip to paris once again ….he later explained that he was the anonymous donar that got me in to that art school ….i couldn’t believe it …my dad sure did a lot of mistakes and at what point he almost caused world extinction ….but he did it for me and I can never hate him for that just for me …but  he will always be the best father an orphan kid could ever ask .

As for you… romantic people out there …you maybe wondering about what happened between me and jessy …well nothing …just kidding …few days after we got back …my father literally dragged me to her house and after being super awkward talking to her at first I managed to ask her out …and the best part ..she said yes …we been dating for 6 months now and I don’t want to jinx it ….but I think she is the one (wink)

PS: I asked her …and the golden ice cream was a freaking date …im such a dumbass .

Bonus chapter : I want out…damn it

A girl walked in a  office and sad down and said:

Girl: did you want to see me Boss

Boss: yes …agent naz …what is this email I got from you asking to leave the DRS

Naz: yes sir …I think its time for me to retire

Boss: but you’re only 29 years old …is there a reason behind it

Naz: sir …yes sir …as you know im a married women for 5 years now and I really want to start a family ..we’re thinking about  having a kid ..my husband and I .

Boss: I see …but im afraid agent naz …I cant let you go …you’re the best agent I have plus we told you at the beginning …once in the DRS …you’re never out .

Naz:  sorry sir …but you leave me no choice  …with that email email I sent you ….is a file holding all the secrets ..me and my team discovered in all of our missions …if you don’t grant me permission to leave …I’ll leak it to the whole press

Boss: what?? Agent ?? you do realize you’ll start an Algerian civil war if this gets out …you won’t dare ??

At tha moment naz came closer and put her hands on his desk and said:

Naz: try me ….boss (sarcastic look)

The boss stopped for a minute then he stood up and said:

Boss: good luck agent ….your country is grateful for all what you did …you have my permission to leave

Naz: yeh yeh …just give me the damn paper

And so seconds later naz was gone …the boss sat down and looked through the window and said:

Boss: here goes another agent …if we keep losing them like this ..will start recruiting from the street in no time ….it’s funny …if it weren’t for thoes damn’’ sinary boys’’ ….agent naz would have never left ….she was a ‘’PURE’’ after all
