hypnotic

A Poem by Fran Marie

Hypnotic

A soothing condition your love bestows
I'm captivated under your charming spell
gazing into blazing eyes
victim to a hypnotic trance sublimely strong

Each moment treasured and cherished well
mesmerized by your love surreal
No control, have I, nor want or need
your magic has me hypnotized

Describing my destiny,I'm at your will
with each new dawn, stronger love grows
Residing in your arms,'tis there I belong
disarming my defense to a hypnotic love,I concede.

Fran, I think this is my favorite from you. I agree with every word Caffeine that The unconscious dominates strongly over the conscious, taking us to places and making us do things that the head would have never allowed." My favorite line is this one, though, it was very hard to choose in this piece.
No control, have I, nor want or need
your magic has me hypnotized

Outstanding piece of work, Fran, truly!!!!!!

Objectification Contest: It is nice to see that women can be hypnotized as much as men. I am always falling under a spell of a woman. I have always loved your poetry and the many things you explore with it. As much as I enjoyed the desire and wanting in this one I have to say it really isn't about "Objectification" which was the point of the contest. Maybe the explanation of it wasn't clear on my part for I noticed just about everyone missed the mark with this one. However I love this poem for what it is a great write~~

Haha, I think you did a good job to compare falling in love with being hypnotised :).
I think that the eye picture is a little average...maybe you would like to change it with a more spectacular one

Love does that to a person, when deeply in love the body has no wants or needs
They are all being fulfilled, as we drift off on a cloud of happiness
I enjoyed this thanks Ray { Not a Poet }

Oh Fran Marie, what a beautiful poem...soothing, charming, blazing, captivated, treasured, mesmerized...I love your word choice...your flow of words embody a sensual romantic notion

"Describing my destiny,I'm at your will"...my favorite line...I like how you reflect this thought

To "feel" an unspoken love is such a wonderful thing...surrendering to a immeasurable urge one is able to give themselves completely...*HUGS TO YOU*

Very nice work Fran Marie. I flows much like the emotions we feel at times like that.

I do see two 'gotchas':
cheerished = cherished and mesmorized = mesmerized.

A beautiful piece that can leave the reader feeling "hypnotized" with its heartfelt and raw emotion.

Gorgeous!

Nicely done Fran, and a nice description of the inner feelings that drive our desire.

A stunning piece! I'm hypnotised by your poem. One risks to drown in the magic of the love you describe so vividly.

Excellent write! Kudos!

"Each moment treasured and cherished well mezmorized " I like this line and it could say memorized, either way gets the point across. Any way the idea of that moment being cherished shows great value in the relationship. And it all plays well with being hypnotized.
