Cosmic

 

Atmosphere. a universal cosmos array
harmonious heavenly bodies
of cosmic force at play
and stars skip silver dancesteps
around the milky way

 

Destiny's design, a bright lunar sight
Aligned with Venus, not Mars
In unison, a magic moon winks bright
Amid a midnight velvet sky
Among the million smiling stars

 

A vast welkin sphere of cosmic delight
whence and where it came about
spining , spining, ever spining
each day into the night with sparkling stars
gloriously gleaming, shining shimmering light.

 

and as I dwell in deep thoughts
gazing into star's light
I imagine my love for you
written across night's sky
with my soul's ink,so bright

'I' love you 'til I die'

Thank you for submitting this to the Ladder to the Sky contest. I really enjoyed this poem very much, and I think it is written in a way that is easily understandable for the readers. The only reason I did not rate it higher in the contest is because it did not follow the single guideline that you must explain the purpose of the ladder to the sky. Overall, I was impressed with this poem because of the wording, flow, and message. I look forward to reading more of your writing in the future.
