Wavelengths

A Poem by Fran Marie

~Wave~Lengths~

~Sonnet~
As darkness decends ~ a full moon shines bright
weaves little stars into my sleep at night

And sleepy-warm dreams unlock in my mind
those stars whisper your thoughts thru~ space and time
Vibrating wave-lengths I visualize clear
A full vision thread spins fondly my dear
Much deeper in dreamland  seem to steep
those stars hunting my soul at night in sleep
they came stealing my love to bring to you
without protest~I wish them to pursue
These same stars shifted direction your way
In a twinkling, your mind too, was their prey

I awakened as the dawn did arise
little woven stars of sleep in my eyes

This is one of the most beautiful sonnets I have read in a very long time. It is well deserving of the Grand Prize award from the Quick Poetry Contest. Many congratulations and blessings!
