nothing else exists

As I breathe you in
and sample all flavors of your love
 It's euphoria

 

Exploring your love

trips all my senses
 divine stimulation

 

Like a rare gem, you are
precious to me, like no other
 truly unique

 

Tho~ you belong to another
Darling, let me play a part in
 loving you.

 

If only moments
they are stolen to love

An endearing poem with such a sad love story.

It is so hard to live in these two worlds where your body is pledged to one and your heart and soul is claimed by another.

Beautifully sad and so true.

On an *edit* note maybe a miss write in this sentence "trips my all my senses".

Apart from that - even including that - this is a heartfelt, agonizingly beatiful poem.

Unfortunately, I know this feeling all too well. You express it beautifully and articulately. I especially like that it is something of a surprise ending, but re-reading it, you find the clues. This is a very good read. I'm adding this to my reading list. By the way, what does the backslash mean?
