Broken

 

Broken is my spirit
 you threw it to the wind
   and made me want to  quit
 
 
Sadden is my view
 a dimmer picture I now see
   you broke my heart in two
 
 
and I don't know how to win
 
 
Hurting are my eyes
   that shed a million tears
      beneath the darken skies

 
 Gone your tender verse
  which eased my wounded soul
        with sweet loving words
 
 
 
and I don't what to do

 
Aching is my heart
  in misery it does steep
       in tiny pieces torn apart

  
Confused is my mind
  you made me feel this way
         I wish for better times
 
 
and I don't know what to say
