Has he really gone away?

My humbled heart ripped out of my chest…

Death, the only true friend I have left…

Here I lay breathless, drowning in my tears…

Hoping that one day he would come back…

Wonderful artwork again, good representation of your artwork. Short and sweet and extremely expressive. I know so many people who feel this way after someone has broken them. It was verging on the points of a self-pity that I really dislike, but it didn't cross over into "woe-is-me" crap (although the author's note pushed it lol). But wow, really nicely written, good choice of words. Each one had meaning and wasn't out of place.
