Watch them disappear?  

 

Who said they disappeared?

They're still here;

hiding in the shadows;

Where lights flicker in obscurity;

And your doubts fuel your insecurities.

 

Watch-them-disappear?

 

Look closer;

that dime of light;

the man in the dark;

hangin' in the shadows of your sub-conscience;

smokin' a cig?

puffin' out your nightmares?

it's your consciousness feeling a bit impure.

 

WATCH-THEM-DISAPPEAR?

 

They've got your wind by the balls;

trapped within a match box;

unable to crawl;

Your world suddenly becomes doll ;

so you cry;

endless tears;

creating a trail of fears.

 

Watch-them-disappear?

 

They sends their silence

to rescuer you;

instead echoing your fall

so you grip for dear life

on the thin "LIES'

the thin lie that becomes your only truth.

 

Watch them disappear?

 

Who said you disappeared

you're still here, hiding in the shadows

and your morality becomes the enemy...

 

I'll watch you disappear.

Really do love this....emotion pulsing behind every word. I love the uncanny and distressed mood it gives off, ( just my view on it) and how there is a lot of release in the last line. I think it needs a concrete outline or plot or idea so it's a little more clear cut. Nyehhhhh sorry I'm not good at explaining =-='

I don't understand what the poem is saying.. I love the way it's written, the emotion and almost frenzy behind each "Watch them disappear".. I just am not sure what muse inspired you to watch it. Otherwise, well written!

Very interestin, dark... I like it. A with most of your writes it's going to take another read or two before I fully "get it" There's always a few layer to digest first. That' probably why I lie it so well... makes me think.
