Pain

I am in pain everyday... After a while it's best to just stay quite. No use in repeating myself. No need to worry and aggravate those around me... Just suck it up and keep moving.

Every day I ache as soon as I awake. This pain I try and shake.

Oh why for goodness sake, do I live with this pain I hate?

So I ask can you relate.

 

I go insane every day in pain, how do I maintain.

My brain is clouded with cold misty rain. Oh pain!

 

I start with my lungs; several times my life has hung.

With out breath I sung with my shaking tongue.

How can I be so young and internally wrong?

My eyes they burn as I try and learn.

Red they turn while the pain holds firm.

Why at my age, do my sight I have to earn?

My bones they ache, knees and knuckles make me hate.

When I move they crack and pop, under my weight.

All this pain within my joints! Can you relate?

Most of all my heart is hurt, after all these years, after all the work.

The pain makes me go insane when cold is the rain. This my pain.

How will my clouded brain ever maintain?
