Fire and Ice

Fire and Ice

A Poem by Friday Junior
"

Diversity is living well

"
Here we are
We've come this far
Between fire and ice
Well, isn't this nice?
2000 years of hedonistic philosophies
Is still a benefactor of ancient prophecies...

There go the creatures
In search of non-believers
Where are the calming words of our vice?
And why must we always be here between fire and ice
Emotions of the fire
And ungrateful royalties
Standing on ice
The men didn't like the girls so nice...

Diversity is living well
A pleasant gift before we go to hell.

Live for me and only me
Just because I want to be free
And have you back as necessity
And so ice and fire
Prove me a liar once again, my friend...

Diversity is living well
A pleasant gift before we go to hell.

Don't give up yet,
Strange as it seems
Life is a glimpse
Of untouchable dreams
I love my patience
But no! I'm a liar
That's how it is
Between ice and fire...

Diversity is living well
A pleasant gift before we go to hell.
