Secrets and More

Secrets and More

A Poem by Black Raven

Secrets of the heart come out so quickly.

Leaving my eyes to burn with tears,

Running water is the only place I can release them

Because I know no one will know.

You don’t have to be strong for me.

As I will let no burden be too much you can bare.

I open a book so she can’t see what I’m writing.

The fear of her rushing in and tearing my heart to pieces.

I never go through anything alone.

So why do I fell like just taking this pen and finishing what I started?

Cut the scar a little deeper,

 Pick out my eyes,

Or maybe just snatch out my heart.

(So ill be emotionless)

Then maybe, just maybe I’ll die.

So no one else will worry about me

But, my twin who’s crying her eyes out in the shower.

Author's Note

Black Raven
I wrote this poem with sadness in my heart. My mom had just told my twin sisters deepest secret of the boy she loved. It really made me mad but, there was nothing i could do about it. She stayed in that shower and cried over an hour.
