past the curtains
and into the rose garden

Yes, a bit shorter than your usual, but that won't stop me from over thinking it.... With a baby's first breath, a leap into forever may indeed be beginning, with the window sill representing mortality, the curtains a metaphor for the veil between this physical plane and the spiritual one, and the rose garden.... A hopeful vision of paradise to come.
I'm probably way off, but hey, that's the fun thing about every person's mind working differently, right?
