Ballad

Ballad

A Poem by Gaia Octavia

The woman woke up all alone,
her dress a wrinkled fright.
She thought of all the crazy things
she'd done to pass the night:

Drinking, dancing, playing cards,
while flirting with the lads.
She felt her pockets full of cash-
she hadn't done half bad!

This swings by really great, but very short. I so want this poem to continue on. Yet it's tantalisingly good as is.
