A Poem by Gaia Octavia
"

Just trying to break writer's block. Uninspired.

"
Blistered eyes
and painted lips,
scenes play out
at faster clips

Press a button,
change the slide,
close your eyes
and open wide

'Round and 'round,
your head will spin
life, it seems,
will always win

And then one day,
set to explore,
you'll turn around
and be no more

Well this is pretty inspired for uninspired stuff!
The metaphor of the slideshow for life is fitting; Isn't that how we play and replay the scenes of our lives in our minds? Until thend, of course, and then what? (Wooooo, philosophical!)

Ha! Thank you. I'm still not really feeling it but I'm glad the metaphor was clear 🤓
