Tattered

Tattered

A Poem by Gaia Octavia

Woven with sharp
hollow bone
by soft, supple hands

With woolen eyes
carefully placing
each stitch

What was once durable
now lies threadbare;
its edges frayed in open mutiny

It is a wonder
I am still here
