True love for teens

True love for teens

A Poem by Star

If this is love, why is it so miserable?
Why does my heart sink whenever he phones up?
Maybe he's not right for me, but how to stop?
Or maybe I should just stop moaning.

Feeling his breath on my cheek
His tender lips meeting mine
The sensation of his arm around me
Could it really be the one?

Whoever I'll love forever is clearly not him
What a jerk....

I don't really like romance, just wanted to try it out. Again messaging from at school
I have to say. This made me relate and smile and think deeply all at the same time and remember a boyfriend or two, haha... "back in the day" when they were my "true love"... oh. I absolutely love your ending. That truly did make me smile and chuckle. Fantastic poem! Thumbs up! Keep working at it I would love to see more!

Great work. I'm a teenager myself, though I haven't experienced 'true love' or anything like it other than through books. Your poem gave me butterflies, the kind you get when ur a teenager.
