Junction

Junction

A Poem by GalaxyGhost
"

Junction: Meeting of two things at a point.

"

I am here

A sunset library of thoughts

One is mine.

Frantic steps touching stairs

Stop the worry--hurry!

Shuffling my feet and listen

Silent whispers against carpet

Sense the sharp, bladed claws behind

Am I alone?

Fear is like a thickening smoke

One last breath and I'm gone

Sinking into a new world above

Gasping air, I finally float back

I am free!
