Empty Altars

Empty Altars

A Poem by GalaxyGhost

Empty altar, empty seats
With only a priest with an empty heart.
Broken heart of a bride
Heart no longer beats
He was an accessory to murder in need to hide.
Topping on the tart:
A bloody dagger on the empty altar

Thank you for your review!
Yikes. Not a wedding I would wish to be invited to. Each line of this poem is vivid, but the most impactful for me were the final two. Super creepy. Excellent work!
