About you

I

There is a world to discover in your eyes,
a war that rages inside of you.

A terrible honesty with this damn place and it's rules; hate.

There are words that explode in the corner of your lips,
collected tears in your pillow
and memories that land in the most lucid moments,
just on the edge of your sanity.

 

There are screams that nobody has ever heard, 
blank stares that fill the eyes of who observe you from the mirror.
There are storms waving your thoughts
and a winter that freezes your warmest wishes.

 

There are constellations on your skin
and a range of colours in your laugh.
 A light that shines on you every time you speak about death
and  a subtle fragility in your smile.

There are scars that adorn your body
and a madness that awakes and torments your soul.
