So What If I'm Single?

The poem for those unlucky with love, or with no love at all.

I was born with the same potential as everyone else,
My heart in place and on standby to search.
But when I reached that age of self-consciousness,
My heart in place shifted and hurt.

What is it that I can remember
That made me change my opinion so?
Life undefined, no signature,
But I'm still on and off and looking forth.

It wasn't until my birthday,
When I looked at the smiles on their reddish lips,
That I felt that my worth as strayed,
And the sore worsen on my hip.

Hope is out there to be believed,
For an old lady like me.
But it's like my mind can't grasp that belief,
And I need that relief to be freed.

Sooner or later my red string will be cut,
Without a smile on bruised lips.
I waited too long with my legs shut,
Without a proper key equipped.

But that's okay, I say.
It's not like I was good at it anyway.
My life is not so special to be stained,
With the love of someone to together decay.

My opinion can be seen as sad,
But my independence has some worth,
Looking back at the accomplishments I had,
I can die with mirth on this Earth.

Kind of says it all, I believe. My opinion and choice of being single. What's wrong with that!? It just takes time!!! Jeez. I'm still young so I don't need to rush when finding someone! See, Mom! D:< Gawd.

More people need to read this and form this view point that you have. Why do you need to be in a relationship to prove that you are special and worthy of love? If you can't drink from your own cup of love then you will not ever truely be happy not even when you are in a relationship, great write.

Umm... to hell with anyone who gives you s**t about being single. There is nothing wrong with it. The thing is, there are very few decent guys out there. A majority are sick, rude, selfish, immature and perverted pigs that show no respect. so i wouldnt blame you in being single forever. But do not think that women are any better, a majority of women are just as bad. people are just s**t.

lol. Wow. Don't worry about your mom. You'll get a guy when you ready. No guy is strong enough to turn you down. ;) lol And if you choose to be single forever that's ok too, no more distractions in controlling the world. lol :D
