Ugly

Ugly

A Poem by Gene Von Banyard

My life, sullied by miscreants who dare to collude,

Concealed suitably by an echelon of lost children,

Idiots and fools.

Art is merely a gesture towards the infinite,

An avatar never made manifest, a fusion never reached.

I have become a creature of independent liberties,

The beast revolts as the spirits scream remains behind me.
