Where I live here in England there is a neighbourley cat who pops in to people during the couse of her day-this is for her

you come again

from outside

to here...we live in

the pilgrim

country of silence...

you my itinerant cat

with whom

i share the blessing

of our true selves

united in quiet

while new day...

new creation

calls to us...

together here in

our precious now...

I like the way you describe your relationship with this visiting kitty. The very idea is intriguing. My kitty ran away from home a year ago & joined the feral community living down by the creek & catching gophers & ground squirrels instead of boring canned cat food. I wish she would visit, like your kitty does! *sigh!* Even tho your message brings melancholy memories for me, I enjoyed reading you!
